The Sims 1 always had a somber, even creepy, mood to me. It's almost as if the music and ambience of the game reflect Will Wright's emotions after the loss of his home. After revisiting the game in 2024, the isometric graphics and gameplay are like a long-lost treasure.

Thank you for making this. I adore Scream Fortress. Despite playing this event when I was a child, I find myself returning each year, just as excited as the last. There is a unique charm to Scream Fortress, from the enchanting skyboxes, to the atmospheric soundscapes, candles and pumpkins strewn about, as well as the spells and bosses. I truly miss the unique storylines valve would add as part of their updates. The community events are nice, but nothing beat reading the comics on your phone in class and running home to get online before the event started, lore fresh in mind. I will continue to play Scream Fortress until it is no longer possible.
