Good old "Wet" coast. It is a beautiful ride. Did it in a car December from Wanaka. Horizontal rain, wild winds. Still stunning though!

Wow some serious km in one day. Furtherest I have been was a few weekends ago 1070km for the weekend. From Greymouth Alexandra and back. Arthus pass, Porters pass Burkes pass, Lindis pass in 48 hours. Stunning ride snow capped mountains as it snowed the week before. No heated gloves haha. Freezing! We lived in Blenheim. Love Kaikoura too. Im new to motorbike riding. Still building up long distance fitness. Thanks for sharing

What year is the Road Glide and is it good to ride ? I’ve never ridden a HD but I’ve bought a 2015 Road Glide Special to do a trip across the US later this year ! Looking for riding tips 😎
@bagger_mode4 ай бұрын
Mine is a 2021 - very comfortable and great for long-distance riding. For a bigger bike, it is surprisingly nimble. Some people moan about the stock suspension but I can't say it bothers me I find a great bike all round. I got my first Harley in 2020 which was a Softail and love the M8 motor. I have always had a thing for the HD's and after finally being in a position to purchase one was a bit of a bucket list moment. I am sure you will have a great trip and I couldn't imagine riding across the US on any other bike - Cheers.

Thanks brother. Good work. Been a couple of years since I rode South. The low traffic volumes reminds me of when Lady Di and I spent 4 weeks riding around in the middle of what was called the pandemic. No overseas tourists no Aucklanders as they were locked down.etc. I remember one day down the west coast with not seeing a single vehicle either direction for 20mins. I thought we had gone back 40years to how we used to ride down there.

Where did you mount on the bike to get this view?
@bagger_mode6 ай бұрын
Hey mate - actually mounted on the seat screw, using a mini ball head adapter and replaced the seat screw with a male to male 1/4 screw commonly used for cameras which just happens to be the same thread size as the HD seat screw. Then just angled the 360 stick back a little. Message me through the bagger_mode Insta or FB page if you want a pic. Cheers

Cheers bro - thank you for watching. I use Capcut to edit my content, it is free and easy to learn, and there are a ton of great YT tutorials. For the audio, I add the music track I want and then go to the video file and lower the volume of the audio and if you want separate it from the video file and manipulate it further. Hope that goes a little way to helping you out. Ride well - cheers.
