@GoodyTS thank you for taking the time to comment. I agree, he used to be A LOT stronger! However, I did have the second most damage in the game. Still decent pick, I believe, especially for zoning around objectives.

@@TheAnalyst8 He has good damage stat numbers at the end, but that's if you don't pick up support or tank items. In terms of pure efficiency as poke abilty or burst stack boom damage, E ability has too long a CD. But you can still play like that if you like that style.

@miriazita thank you for taking the time to comment. The reason I used Sorc shoes was because most of my damage was magic damage from my items. So my items could do the most damage, I resorted to building magic pen boots.

@kirbydik3896 thank you for taking the time to comment! You are correct he is better than ever, especially support! I like grasp as it adds health, damage, and healing. Guardian is good too but only gives a one time shield that can be activated without actually being in the fight. If you front line and use grasp you have a tad bit more sustain I feel. I just think it’s a play style preference because both can definitely work great!

@GarboEmbargo I appreciate the comment but not sure what you mean by click bait traps? I try very hard to show my stats in the thumbnail to everyone to not clickbait anyone. He is a mage poke support. He is not useful in every match up but against a melee support it is easier to stack without taking cs from your adc. Definitely scales regardless though which is nice if it gets to mid/late game. PIt’s a way to think outside the box and show there are other options out there. If you have any other way of how to title this video other than the way it is, because what I stated was true, then please let me know. Open to suggestions. Obviously ap smolder supp is very suboptimal. I do somewhat agree that saying "free wins" is kind of a misnomer seeing as it's only a free win when the enemy doesn't have hands. But I don't think he claimed it was OP or anything

@@TheAnalyst8 a long time ago, when zeri ap mid was a thing I played her supp, it was a fucking banger the damage from the W ult and passive were just so damn high but 1 game out of 2 my team would literally int just because they didn't like it so yeah i think you just can't play something weird in ranked unless you're smurfing big time

@@ElMarlish that does sound super strong. I remember the Ap Zeri days. It is tough to keep moral strong with off meta. At the beginning of my channel I was playing normals and multiple people were stating that it wasn’t real because it wasn’t ranked. I definitely don’t play someone like smolder ranked without trying them first in norms. I appreciate the comment though. I am trying to appease more people by playing some ranked some norms. Just trying to show people different champs in different roles could be viable in the right match up.

@dunbanana agree! Between warmogs and thornmail, I spin in circles which path to go down. Tried something different than a typical support build was my goal, not necessarily the best.
