Have you tried putting some ice in the water? Heck, you could freeze a one gallon jug of water and dump that in your 5 gallon bucket.

With that pump running at 1000l/h and a heat spread of 30°C you could move 125kW of heat. Obviously that machine is more than 2 orders of magnitude away from that figure. So... this mod is nice, but probably is not much helpful. The wall of radiators is what keeps you running here.

You could have a major impact, if you add an interstage cooler. What are the RPMs in the US with 60Hz grid? I think is an induction motor tied to grid frequency. As these machines are constantly on the edge of thermal self destruction, the reduction to 50Hz in Europe (or using a VFD) might help reduce the thermal load and thus the longevity quite a bit.

Filtered tap water from a hose , repurpose the water coming out , tap water is always fairly cool

You should try a water pump/chiller for C02 laser cutters. Looks like it would be a plug and play upgrade for you.

If you increase the flow it might flow to fast for the heat to transfer into the coolant. I am not an engineer but I think the water has to sit next to the area to be cooled for a little while to transfer the heat. I could be totally wrong but I don't think it transfers instantaneously. You could be right to increase the flow rate but it might be easier to just get a stronger pump to move more water, Just a thought.

Increasing the flow rate does improve the cooling for this compressor. I showed this in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYS6aoyvo8-Cmbs There is obviously a point of diminishing returns though; I'm confident if I did another test with another water pump 4 times the size of the upgraded pump I used in the test, there would only be a pretty small improvement.

That is not what happens. Faster flow does not cool less. It also does not necessarily cool significantly more. In the PC watercooling scene this has been shown very impressively. Water has such high heat capacity that even for high powered systems you don't need much flow. The various heat transfer surfaces quickly become the limiting factor rather than the transport capacity of the water.

I swapped out those brass fittings with push connect macro fitting. Also put a solid state relay and built a chiller out of an old countertop ice cube maker.

It's good to cool the last stage line to lower the dew point of the compressed air, but filling an empty bottle without a pmv will cause your water separator(s) to not work since it needs a minimum pressure of 2000 psi. Because this will also immediately saturate your dry filter, you will be pumping all that moisture into your bottle up to 2000 psi. To fill an empty bottle a pmv is a must, for refilling from 2000 psi the check valve is sufficient.
