I never fails to amaze me the absolute crap that people put online and think that its good. This is terrible welding. Talk about spreading misinformation. And you just finished welding one side and you go to grab it with your bare hand. Please learn to weld before other people watch this crap and think it's correct. With a MIG you should of been able to do a vertical down in a run. Not spot tackling it the whole way.

MAG welding my ass. There isn't a single second of welding in this video.

Trash. You won't pass any test with this. The only way for you to make money in the welding profession is to sell all your welding equipment.

Thin plate... Switch leads to avoid undercut. Or down hill if allowed
@stickyfox4 ай бұрын
I learned after attempting this that it takes 2-3 seconds of heat to properly tack metal this thick.... maybe more; I've never welded over 100A. And I'm not an expert but I think it fills better and reduces undercut if you aim the arc at the vertical surface and let the puddle "wash" down onto the flat surface. But it's certainly a pretty weld!

Ah yes, nothing like a series of small tacks to hold that potmetal table together
