Thank you so much for this video. I have a little bench my dad made when he was only 8 years old. I am 70 so I dont know how old that makes the bench but the webbing became rotten and my grandson stepped on it and of course now it is ruined. But I think I can do this thanks to your video.

Great vid, the secret is revealed. A suggestion, don't spend so much time on taping, we can all figure that out with one or two tips.
@WoodcraftMagazine

Thanks for the input and appreciate the kind words Bob. We really wanted to focus on the taping preparation step, because it's a major safety issue and needs done correctly, otherwise it could be very bad. From a safety perspective, this had to be a major part of the tutorial. Thanks!

Where do you order your chairs. Not all chairs have appropriate slats for weaving. Are they custom to you Thank you. Great Work and your teaching is excellent!!!!

@@WoodcraftMagazine I do have the article with the finished product but I always think it's good when producing a video to show what the finished product looks like. Some people may reference this technique without having the article or for different projects. It also just puts a nice ending on it.

This is a perfect video to explain how to place dovetails in a project. It is put together so beginners and veterans of the software can learn it. I have been using sketchup for a long time but just now needed to learn this for a project.

Fascinating! I’m thinking this would have been great to seal the inside walls of our log cabin when I was growing up. An annual re-application would have removed the wood stove soot and kept the logs looking nice.

It would have been nice if you had shown how to level a table that wasn't. This was about as useful as watching an airplane land safely
