Penn State fan here. Our last 2 match ups have been against classy teams/fans. I don't dislike Oregon or SMU. And as nice as it was to get the win I felt bad for Jennings. That was rough. Now had that been Michigan or OSU, I wouldn't have felt bad for even a second. Although I do appreciate Michigan taking down OSU for the 4th year straight. Lets go State!

As a Clemson fan, I feel AMAZING after this game. After what the DJU Tony Elliott Brandon Streeter era did to this program we had to do some serious rebuilding and we finally started to see it pay off this season. We should return literally the entire offense and most of the defense. We MUST move on from Wes Goodwin, he is completely clueless. We still have the horses in the trenches to compete with the big boys - look at how we faired vs Texas in short yardage defense(we won). Goodwin simply had no gameplan for Texas’ outside run scheme, the LBs were a step too slow every play, no1 knew where they needed to go. We fix the defense with COACHING we are immediately a title contender again.

I’m a Vols fan. I wasn’t worried until I saw Tennessee “warming up” shirtless. Call me casual, but that stank of how Colorado acted going to Oregon last season. Anytime you’re “showing” something that’s not on the field, it tells me you’re compensating and you’re not just being you. And that’s the first time I doubted. The second time I doubted was the first time Jeremiah Smith ran a route. That’s really when the game was out of reach. Oh well, Go VOLS🍊

strength of schedule should have been included. SMU, Boise State, and IU should’ve never been ranked as high as they were.

People here are so off 😂 Talking about Alabama in the portal. Yeah. Lot more going out than coming in, especially talent wise. People going to FSU for a death sentence 😂 but if it pays well $ 🤷♂️ Bunch of people “we got this guy” and that guy is not even close to what was lost. Talking about low 4 stars to replace high 4 stars.

12 team college football playoffs are kind of like the Santa Clause,,,, Seeing is Believing,,,, We don't really have that much intraconference play ... because of that .. people tend to think their team is competitive against out of conference teams .. based on records and statistics.... but these playoffs have shown who has the toughest conferences and tough schedules ... hopefully after witnessing the first round... Seeing is Believing... Great show love your perspective... even if players, coaches and officiating let you down lol

Texas easily could've scored 50 plus and Clemsux fans are happy about it cause Cade played really well. Newsflash Clemsux when you have no running game you have to throw more and Texas has not faced a QB as good as Cade.

SMU should not have been there even before the game. BEST twelve teams, SMU was not better than Alabama, clear cut flat out. They did not have the resume and if they played Bama's schedule would have easily have had 3 losses if not more. This is the BEST twelve teams, strength of schedule matters. Will go to my grave saying the 2022' Bama team and this team got hosed by the committee.

JP thinks Payton is going to do well at LSU? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! PP is soft, not an Alpha. He only does well IF he has someone oppositie of him drawing all the attention. Good luck at LSU PP and more importantly, good riddance!

Ive said SC over SMU since the seeding dropped. And i feel vindicated honestly. The playoffs should be best. Not most deserving. If you want most deserving then just rank based off schedule and hand out first place tropgies to the best schedules at the end of the year. The playoffs is to find the best of the best. Thats the whole point of that style of tournament

I would never say that Indiana didn't belong in the playoffs. For crying out loud, Notre Dame got in after that embarrassing loss to NIU! All the playoff committee cared about was your win-loss record - obviously. But, when it comes to this game, Notre Dame was just so much better than Indiana on the field on Friday, and obviously wanted this more - and had more to prove. And, hopefully they bring the same intensity to the Sugar Bowl.

It's crazy that ESPN and other "experts" didn't have the same energy for Tennessee that they had for Indiana with the "the committee should not have put them in the playoffs" babble.

When Boise State beats Penn State next week will Josh Pate have "effusive praise" for that team? No. He'll diminish the accomplishment and put the blame on Penn State coaches and players and give no credit to the Boise State O and D lines or the skill players. All this guy does is look at the logo on the helmet and regurgitate what all the overpaid talking heads say. It will be fun to see how these so-called elite defenses react when they face Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, or Arizona State's Cam Skattebo, or Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love. The elite RBs will have a field day this upcoming college playoff weekend.

I was there, and I can tell you 1000% when Tennessee scored 10 the crowd went quiet and it WAS tense, I said if Tennessee can score to start the half this Ohio crowd will turn on them, didn’t happen but you could feel it. The people chirping me almost the entire first half stopped, you could feel it.

Ryan Day needs fired along with Chip Kelly- he for sure aint worth 10 million a year - Ryan Day can't beat Michigan and Thinks he is a top coach with 14 (5) star players going up against Tennessee (3-4) 5 star players - With that kind of talent a GOOD Coach would have a couple more NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and pulverized a mediocre Michigan team

Ryan Day's job WAS and STILL IS on the line. Anything short of a National Championship, and he's gone. Count on it. You DO NOT lose 4 straight to that team up north and keep your job. Ask John Cooper & Earl Bruce.

@@itsjuan145 Native Buckeye, Former 2X All American OSU player. 10 years playing & coaching under Belichick. 3X SB champion. The resume and name recognition is there. Granted, doesn't mean it makes him him a great recruiter. But it's hard to not recruit at OSU. Trust me, I wanted Ryan Day to be successful. I like the guy and Obviously so did Urban. But damn, he makes some strange coaching decisions from one game to the next. That fact has never been more evident than it has the last 2 games.

How we feeling is Clemson fans. I can’t speak for others, but I’ll say this for myself. I feel like the team improved. They won an ACC championship. They made it to the college football playoff. They did so with a revamped offensive line. They’re bringing in a big-time wide receiver in the portal that could help us. I feel like all of the questions about whether or not they’ll take a step forward next year have to do with the defense. If the defense improves, I think they’re in the college football playoff again so how do I feel? Pretty good!
