@@felipesad Way to go! Intriguing vocals, rather complements the BR style, but with a unique tempo. If you cover anything else from BR, I'd be interested in hearing. Also if you're familiar with Steven Wilson's work (solo or Porcupine Tree), judging by this I think you'd be at home covering many of those tracks.

I don't find it an especially confusing track, lyrically anyway. It was the biggest grower from RFH, for me. Solid cover, keep 'em coming.

Lyrically it's pretty straight forward, I just think it's very eccentric in its instrumental arrangement! I had to do quite a bit of thinking and experimenting when figuring out how I wanted to play the intro and verses. And thank you very much, my guy! I do have other BR covers on my channel, in case you hadn't seen them already

@@johnzackarias11 Oh, small retraction: The biggest grower from RFH for me was Struck A Nerve, and by far. Standout track. You should try covering if you haven't already. I'll take some time to re-check your channel soon.

Something about this track had me thinking it's one of the harder BR ones to pull off in terms of an acoustic cover, but you sure did it here. Bravo.

Thank you so much! I was never a big fan of this song, but one day I realized that it's actually a terrific song that (in my opinion) just wasn't presented in its full potential. I also realized that if I keep the guitar arrangement simple, it's fairly easy to make a cover out of it.

Thanks a lot! I'm using a Røde NT USB mic and Garageband. It definitely has the capacity to pick up a lot of sound when you need it to!

@@marktovey273 Sure! It's a Taylor Big Baby. It's a pretty light weight guitar, but sounds very rich. The pickguard is custom made, I had the original removed and asked my dad to make one out of wood in the exact same shape and size. Thankfully he did, and I think it looks awesome!

My standout tracks: Modern Man, God Song and Entropy. The version of Entropy on here conjures up for me Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds crossed with a psychedelic acoustic pop song. It's a really beautiful duet with excellent guitar work. I recommend everyone check it out. My friend and I contributed Anesthesia to this compilation. I'm pleased to have been a part of this project. There are so many good interpretations on here.

Thanks for your kind words! I performed Entropy with my wife, but ran into a perfect storm of technical difficulties with the mixing. At one point all vocal files were flatlined, so I had to re-record all vocals about 12 hours before the submission deadline. I'm not in love with the mix, but someday very soon I'll sit down to remix it better. 😁

YO. that Turn On The Light cover is fuckin’ insane! The first few tracks are really solid. I LOVE the version of God Song from Emily Davis & Jonny. Each one of these tribute albums has been better than the last.
