@@yashhh933 Bro In question it is told when we have to Replace the machine. Maintenance cost is taken because we have to calculate for different different year.

@@yashhh933 Bro consider if we replace machine in 2yr then we will incur maintenance cost of 1st and 2nd yr Or if we replace machine in 3yr then we will incur maintenance cost of 1st 2nd and 3rd yr Or if we replace machine in 4yr then we will incur maintenance cost of 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th yr
