He's a comedy genius. On another level. It's like being taken to another dimension. His wacky world, all the whole he delivers endless witty one liners. The time he must have put in and dedication to his craft is something else.

I have been to that town and for them to have traveled, in winter, to play a show there must have been truly a magical night for those in attendance. I just rewatched A Very English Winter. Couldn't believe how pervasive blackface is / was among the traditional English customs, nor how many fire hazards and health & safety issues. I hope these lovely old rituals survive the present cancel climate.
