I'm dying to correct myself. Thanks to Kaze's Nintendo 64 videos I've recently seen, I totally agree. It's just that the developers never used the full potential of the console since 3D games where a totally different style and coding logic from what they were used to before.

I’m trying something interesting with this video in particular. I’ve been obsessed with post-rock and post-punk music like Joy Division and Radiohead. I wanted that same post-feel in my videos so badly. So I desaturated the video, added an old TV overlay effect, and added some reverb effect to my voice. Also, I created my own music in the background that was inspired from “Love will Tear us Apart” and some songs from The Cure. It adds to the feel way more, without being distracting(I might upload the full audio on KZbin). It’s called “Stay Awhile”, because I want you to stay awhile in the video, eh, eh? And this might not be noticeable, I started to write the scripts more like this now. For example: The first we have is the old NES to start off It’s a fine piece of gaming console legends to stand One of the most retro gaming consoles out there But even if it is the oldest This console is still great with that charm and others things to this very day And I especially love this console for it’s games Such as Super Mario bros 1 to 3, Zelda I and II, and Kirby’s Adventure of course I just love both the challenges these games contain Yet how straight forward the controls are all together Giving way to some of the most enjoyable games In Nintendo’s entire franchise of video games out there That’s my pure joy with the NES to me Even if it may not appeal to everyone It’s a suitable console to kick off Nintendo’s catalog of gaming consoles to come In a way it feels more like writing a poem or even a song, rather than a tedious script. This makes the commentary more catchy or hooky in some ways, and also avoids any rantings that I don’t want especially. I typed all of this before the video even went public, but the goal is to try something new, more unique that almost creates videos that seem to be, well, the aftermath of KZbin videos. Post-KZbin-Videos if I may call it! Really this is just a way to go against the flashy, fast-paced videos out there, and instead do the opposite but still making the videos watchable.(Otherwise I don’t have a point of doing this type of thing at all.) But that’s also why the outro is nothing but white noises pretty much. A place to breathe at the end of the video, to think and ponder even(if you want to stick around for a few extra seconds). On purpose then, there is no End-Screen since that would ruin the feel with what would appear as a pop-up ad. Anyways, it was fun toying with the video since it would have been boring anyways without the extra touches.

I guess nintendo was right about Americans not being able to beat lost levels lol. Literally everyone on youtube hates it for being “too hard”, or “unfair”. When games can be fun because of their difficulty, or atleast that’s what I like about lost levels. Its just more smb1 but actually challenging

Side note, people thinking smb1’s physics are bad is just a skill issue. I get it for ice climbers or mario bros. But just cause smb1 isn’t like mario maker doesn’t mean its bad

@@Garro2 super circuit aswell, Just because old games don’t play like the new ones doesn’t mean they are bad or “dated” you just need to take time to learn them. And it isn’t “nostalgia” either. I grew up during the Wii era and played alot of nes snes and n64 games because of the wii virtual console, I discovered all the classic games from those consoles 25 years after they came out. So I have no nostalgia.
