Speaking on her decision to honor Phyllis Hyman in her new song, Candace says: “It was both a labor of love and a deeply personal journey for me…I wanted to pay homage to Phyllis in a way that felt authentic and sincere, while also infusing the song with my own experiences and emotions.” Hear “Over and Over (Phyllis Hyman Tribute)” . This beautiful tribute to Phyllis Hyman, who would have turned 75 in July

I love Hi Five my favorite R & B group.. I still rock their music to this day.. I love that they still singing and good to see the 3 members still going strong.. I just wish they put up Tony pictures when they’re performing. It would be nice to see his pic.. RIP Tony 🕊️❤️🕊️

This song transcends any racial lines for me. Brings back memories of high school 1985. Heartfelt times the 80s. The soul and depth of music then compared to now? RIP Trisco and Antoine.

Black Americans have different cultures although they're lumped into 1 ethnic group.. Blacks from New Orleans have the most experience in doing Carnival type parades like Mardi Gras (like their Caribbean counterparts). Mardi Gras comes from the same traditions as the Caribbean parades. They should do a Mardi Gras parade or Second line like they do in New Orleans (at least in the back end of this parade). It's going to make it even bigger..
