A lot of talk that says little. I wouldnt join if i heard this first. Get rid of the dates. The degrees are representative of ancient knowledge which we cant discuss in public. The time frame of the ritual is prior to the second temple. And there were freemasons living at that time so drop the 1717. The Master Mason cant understand the complete purpose of the lodge without taking the Royal Arch degrees. The WM of a lodge should be a RAM so that he can ever act as such and govern in true and ancient form. There is proof freemasonry is ancient. The less knowledgeable master mason has the idea the craft began by stonemasons in England. That idea would tend to fade away if the WM was required to be a companion thus him having more of the secrets.

@genoburnett6963 Far be it from me to try to discourage you....but you ought to know that Freemasonry is a marathon...not a sprint. Of course, I do not know your individual circumstances etc, but I would always advocate going through the Chair of your Mother Lodge BEFORE Exaltation in the Royal Arch. There will be a host of members trying to get you to join their Chapter....resist them all. You will be a Companion of the Royal Arch in no time.

We are all different and so are our journeys. The advice to delay joining the Royal Arch originates a long time ago and is no longer relevant. I would suggest be guided by your search, your interest, your circumstances and your commitment.

In regards to the Royal Arch and the numbers 6 and 9 on the Keystone, why did Queen Elizabeth I die at the age of 69, and Queen Elizabeth II died at 96.

Did you know that construction of the Twin Towers started in 1968, and that 1968 was also the same year the US declared 911 as it's official emergency number. Yeah you probably missed the fact that 911 is the same date the twin towers fell. Did you ever stop to look at the masonic compass and square sitting between the twin pillars. You will see how it looks like IXXI. The 2 x's are either side of the compass and square crossing each other to make x's. IXXI = 911 in Roman numerals. Iv seen it on an old Roman coin. Iv seen it carved into stone while watching a documentary on ancient Rome. The US named a space shuttle Apollo. Porsche made a 911 Apollo. 911 = Apollos Gate, or the Gate of Apollo. Apollo being a Sun God. Sun God worship. The Twin Towers were just a representation of the Gate of Apollo. 911 was just a mass sacrifice while also giving the US an excuse to rape and pillage the middle east. Especially Iraq. The same reason they went to Iraq in 1991. There was something they were looking for in Iraq, but it never had anything to do with weapons of mass destruction. Ancient Babylonian artefacts. They found some in 1991, and they only went back there in 2003 due to what was found by an archeologist. Biblical Text Revelation 9 11. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. And there is your God Apollo.... you all need to play catch up. Gotta love the masonic world
