Love this! Very relatable. I'm glad KZbin put your video on my feed - even 5 years later.

You may have read Dolores Claiborne by now, but if you haven’t, you absolutely should. Incredibly moving story with a really different narrative style for him.

I love Kings of the Wyld and have read it several times, yet somehow I didn't know there was a second book until a few weeks ago. Due to my absolute reverance for KotW, once I found out about Bloody Rose I had to read a few non-spoiler reviews before I decided to pick it up. I think I was worried that if Bloody Rose didn't measure up it would somehow tarnish its predecessor and leave me unsatisfied and disappointed. However, that was not the case at all. Event though the first quarter was a meandering, somewhat uneventful introduction of the band, the rest of the book more than made up for it. Poignant yet heartwarming, somber yet joyous, Bloody Rose is not Kings of the Wyld... Kings of the Wyld was a story about a band that gets back together for one last battle, Bloody Rose is about a family. Fantastic read. Glad you liked it as well. ❤

I’m on my third (🤦🏽♀️😄) back-to-back re-read and re-listen of this series! The audiobook has a full cast of characters and it’s amazing! AIDAN is my favorite! If you haven’t already , you should also read the prequel novella “Memento”. I liked that one a lot, too! AIDAN is still being AIDAN, of course!😆

When you unhaul books - do you donate them, or sell them? If you sell them, where do you sell them? I'm moving from MN to NH in a couple of months and I know there are a couple of books that i'm going to have to unhaul - but they're nicer books and a couple are signed so would like to make a little bit of money back on them lol.

I do a few things with mine. Some I’ll send or give to friends. A few (like the graphic novels and a few of the other books) go into free little libraries in my neighborhood. And then the last of them usually I’ll sell to a Half Price Books or something like that. For rarer or signed ones I know most people use forums to trade/sell that way within the community but I unfortunately don’t have much knowledge of that process.

Happy to see you again! 🥹 Also, this gives me hope that I may one day actually come back. 😂 I relate SO much to what you’re saying too. Being on the internet is harder than it used to be and the pressure to be perfect & speak on EVERY social issues happening just tore me apart. I never understood people getting upset about not speaking on something, especially because it’s not like all of us have a huge platform? LOL. Where is this energy for celebrities?? The standard is unreal. But also, sometimes I just didn’t feel knowledgeable enough to or didn’t want to talk about it in that space. I have my personal life for that. IDK. I have complicated feelings about it. 😅

I have a whole Monday morning routine, mostly where I bump into walls because it's early and I'm grumpy but I also listen to a specific podcast while watching the episode of early 00's reality TV it's about and drink my coffee and yell at the little to GET UP. And you just threw off my entire routine with your lovely face. How dare you. I've been very YT absent and don't know how to comment properly anymore. Maybe you coming back will wake that muscle memory back up. ❤

::scoots romance out of the way:: These books sound so good! I hadn't even looked at the synopsis for Fairy Tale because I'd been so disappointed by King for so long but you may have talked me into it. Even though it sounds like I might cry. I don't know why I haven't read more Andy Weir after loving The Martian so much. I held off on that one because SCIENCE and then he surprised me. I need to get on it. Midnight Library also sounds like a book that will make me cry. A lot. ::side eyes::
