"Murder by Numbers" was not on original American release that I can remember. It was the flip side on a 45 RPM - and BACK IN THE DAY lol (1980s) - I would find this on a bar jukebox and always play it - because most people had not heard it. Most of these songs were on constant rotation on FM radio. Also a number of them were music videos on MTV. I have seen those videos so many times - and heard most these on FM for years and enjoy every second. I did see The Police once live, The Capital Centre, Largo, MD, Ghost in the Machine tour. The Go Gos were the opening band. Was probably 1980-81 - I first heard The Police - was in college. Their first US tour, if I remember correctly, they played at The Warner Theater in Washington, DC - I wish I went that smaller, awesome venue.
