Hola Gustavo Gracias por compartir tu experiencia en este viso referente a como utilizar el arduino como Modbus slave. Deseaba saber como conectaste la parte material, Rx, Tx (1,0)? utilizaste una interface RS 485? Espero tu respuesta, creo que ibas a subir un video de esto.

Hi Gustavo When I try to connect to slave the software asks user name and password, How can I solve that issue??? (I use Administrator as user name and password but it fail)

It seem to be a problem of Codesys setup

It's not a problem, I set up a new account, just a name and password. Or you can use your windows name and password.

Hallo. What version of Codesys do you have? When compiling a project, an error occurs " The Library 'cmperrors interfaces, 3.5.5.0 (system)' is only supported in 32 bit applications". I have 32 bit Codesys. All necessary libraries are installed

You have to create an empty project, an then import 'control1 -v2.export'

Hi, nice video. I tried to use your sketch by installing SimpleModbusSlave library but I can't complile at all. I have an error about 'mbed.h' libraries. Can you suggest me how to solve problem? I have to connect a Arduino Uno to Schneider PLC by using Modbus RTU protocol. Thank you.

unfortunately QModBus can't connect with arduino with code you provided, I did try with uno, nano and mega 2560 without sucess - but it might be something wrong with Qmodbus

hi, you only need usb cable to connect arduino UNO to your computer, no other component required to test this

I am trying to monitor my 12v valence batteries that has 4 module in series at 3.65v each which is = 14.6v. Since these batteries have an internal bms, which has an amp connector. How can I monitor each module using arduino, rs485, logic level converter and 4 module relay?

You could use some circuit to measure the four required voltages, depending on the required accuracy you may have different solutions. Arduino UNO has 6 analog channels, so you could use it. RS485 is only required if you want to transmit the values to another device for other purpose. If you have Wifi connectivity, it is possible to connect your Arduino to a WiFi Shield and send data through Internet. I hope it helps you

which file have you uploaded in arduino ? because the file test_modbus3.ino is not compiling. You have used 7 parameters in the function modbus_configure , while as per its library it takes only 5. can you please help ?

Hi, sorry for this delay, you have to install the library SimpleModbusSlave.h modbus_configure is as follows: void modbus_configure(HardwareSerial *SerialPort, long baud, unsigned char byteFormat, unsigned char _slaveID, unsigned char _TxEnablePin, unsigned int _holdingRegsSize, unsigned int* _regs);
