Where can I get a new door

I barely got this model used on FB.. it great shape. I know there’s the CFX3 , my question is... I’m hoping there’s nothing wrong with this older version.. no recall? Anyone still own this one and still working good?

But if you get in an accident, will the insurance co. cover the claim if they see that actually living in the vehicle? I’m a contractor and I use my step van to haul tools, not to live in.

I insulated the inside of the pocket on my Step Van. Oh and up until today, I didn’t know it was called a pocket door......I have been calling the pocket area the Door Cave 🤣😂🤣😂

At the beginning of this video I was thinking I'd have to say goodbye to my dream of living in one of these things. I plan on running my social media consulting business from my rig, and after watching this, I'm realizing that it will actually make a wonderful mobile studio for content creation for my clients and that insurance (hopefully) won't be an issue. Just purchased a cfx50w just a few days ago! Will be using it for my truck setup (overland). My android and this wifi connected ok, just took a little time before it finally connected. There after it seemed to connect on it's own if I opened the app. I noticed you touched the the single zone fridge when trying to set up wifi on one of your shots...maybe that is keeping it from connecting.

How much is the unit?

I am researching insurance prior to purchase of a stepvan so your information is much appreciated. My concern lies with the legal issue as well as in case of an accident where I am at fault and my insurance finds out that my converted step van,which was registered and insured simply as a non commercial vehicle, and would not cover the costs to the accident vehicles and or pedestrian. With thousands, if not 100s of thousands converted skoolies and step vans, I find it disgusting that insurance companies are thrilled to write $80k suvs but not $8k converted rvs.

The app works well on my apple. It’s really handy. You are able to switch one or both compartments off individually if you only need half the space and that will save current draw. The other additional bonus is that it shows the battery voltage of the selected power source. Obvious feature of setting the temps per compartment is made easy by sliding the button. Great app. Check for updates on android. No issues on my apple. Great vid. Thanks

The app works you just don't want it trying to connect to the internet at the same time. There is an option in the settings to turn it off.

What year is this MT-45?

It happens I have an MT-45 as well. I love it. I love fixing it up. But insurance has been a nightmare. I never thought about declaring it as a business - but as a photographer that's exactly what it is! It's my photo truck! Thanks. Next Day: I did it and it's really not that expensive and a big plus is they don't tell me I have to have a sink or toilet or whatever!

I just took my 1973 Chevrolet P30 Step Van registration to my insurance agent and they got me an RV policy with Progressive. It was only $125 a year!

I've heard other people say if you register it as an RV (as in the title I think) its much cheaper I think, can't remember it was a while ago I was watching something. Also I would wonder, if its insured as a commercial vehicle, if you never have an incident then its fine, but in the event that there is some sort of crash or something I've heard the process is more complicated for insurance to deal with it and they want the maintenance records from the company driving it. I'm far from an expert so I might not know what I'm talking about, but just some stuff to think about.

Yo, someone crashed into me before that had progressive, and they were like the most shady company I've ever dealt with. They tried to say it was partly my fault which was very obviously false, they were trying to get out of paying me what they owed, they wouldn't listen when I told them that was bullshit, they made me go to a specific shop to assess the damage that just happened to quote the damage at the lowest amount of all the other like 6 shops I got quotes from (a difference of like $2,500), they waited a while until they finally decided to pay me because I wasn't backing down and letting them screw me over, and then after that, they started calling over and over saying it was a mistake and they want the money back. I hope I never talk to progressive again, I give them a negative five star review.

I've had this problem on Android with wifi based drones you'll need to go into the phones wifi settings and tell it to maintain connection without internet. My drones wouldn't sinc up because of this not sure why Google decided to auto disconnect in this situation.

I have my Stepvan (GMC P3500) insured at the minimum amount right now. It’s just sitting in driveway awaiting me to finish getting it road worthy. It’s $32 a month right now. When I’m done, I’m planning on using it for business (Locksmithing) and pleasure (like an RV) and my agent knows that. The price at that point would be close to $70-$80 a month. But I didn’t tell them much about the vehicle other than give them the VIN# and that the title says it’s a “pickup”. I’ll definitely insure it as commercial though once my locksmith equipment is in it, yet the title doesn’t say it’s commercial and it’s not in my business name. The inside will be fairly modular where the equipment will be in a jobox on wheels and I can roll it out and use like an RV. The counters inside will double as kitchen/ work bench...

I was looking at my Stepvan doors and thinking about fab’ing and rubber wiper for it. It would bend/ wipe inward when opening the door but should also bend in the the correct direction when the door closes🤔.

The app is a gimmick I wouldn’t even bother with it.

Ok, if you get the title changed from a commercial vehicle to an RV, would they still give you a hard time? They look up the VIN number and it says Freightliner model 123, RV, would they not just insure you as an RV?

Hi - Any idea if there's a CFX95DZ without the "W"? Dometics official video for the CFX95DZW shows a friedge that only has one LED read out, less buttons, and is utterly confusing as some of their literature says CFX95DZ , other literature says CFX95DZW ... not sure what the W even means...

Can you tell me how much this cost?

Hang a door panel and install. A door sweep can be adjusted to put pressure on the pocket door. The rough dimension is the size of the wood before it is dry killed and planed on 4 sides. Each piece rough cut can be different so finished dimension is what you get. I worked in sawmill for several years.

Purchased the new model Dometic CFF 45 model a couple of weeks ago and have not turned it off, with a 3 year warranty... I'll be testing that out, I've been on one camping trip in 35 degree heat, works a treat with no problems , very quiet and I'm very impressed so far, we'll see how she goes as my fridge will be running all of the time not just on camping trips.

if your not using the van for business do not get a business license on the truck. if its titled in business and its over 10,001 gvw or combined with any trailer over 10,001 it is under federal dot as a commercial vehicle and requires us dot numbers and name on the truck tant time you cross state lines. and in today's legal climate and you use equipment or any chance of a error or accident in the business you better be a Llc corporation or ever presonal asset is at risk. accident with the truck as a business and your personal assets are at risk since lawyer sees business name the dollar signs are in the ambulance chaser eyes used to be safe to just be self owned and carry 100/3000k was enough get the truck registered as a motorhome each state has different rules some require sink and stove some like fl if you wire it for shore power or gen and declare it as one useally the dept of motor vehicles have online or published. when buying too estimate what you are going to load since step vans depending on yr made and chassie can have gvw as low as 6500 to as much as 26000 i owned 2 10f that ere 6500 and 7000 1 12 ft 8000 and 1`12 9000 and drove 16 ft 10,000 but the newer ones are useally 10,250 to 18,000 and fed ex grounds are 25000. nice big box but way heavy duty than needed for cam,ping unless you go crazy with appliances cabinets etc heavy chassis do last longer but expensive to run and fix and fuel is lower. the new freightliner ups trucks gas are getting 4.5 to 6.5 mpg in suburban del so about 7 to 9 is all you hope on road

Any idea what the dimensions are for the lids to the refrigerator/freezer when you open them. When I buy one I plan on keeping it under my bed and making sure I leave enough clearance so when I lift my bed up with shocks the lids of the Fridge /Freezer will fully open...thank you.

your camera work gave me motion sickness try to hold the camera still and dont do a bunch of waving pans as you talk. better to keep camera steady as possible! I want to watch this project but I cant watch if it makes me throw up!!!!
