Hi, please don't laugh at me as I know what I did is something so stupid. I used glycolic acid 6, and retinol moisturizer alternatively for a few months and I went through the purging phase. It didn't seem to work so, I've stopped using them and it's been a month but I still had acne on the sides close to the ears and chin. Moreover I had dark lip corners. Someone told me to change my paste to sls free which I did and it kinda helped but the darkness just didn't go away. I even used vitamin B12, D, Iron because I'm low on it. The acne was so bothering that finally I've used warts / mole removal pen on them as I've seen many videos on YT regarding. I naturally let them heal without plucking off the flakes after, to prevent marks but the marks still formed and I even did the same thing on the corner of my lips thinking if I burn the skin there, new one will form but naaah, it's darker than before. 😭 I know I was crazy. I'm currently using niacinamide (been a week) and the burn thing happened three weeks back. I just can't go out without makeup now and it's such a work. Will this tape help ? Because I ordered it for the acne marks and the pigmentation mark near the lips. How do I use it for them ? Put them on and let it be there for days ?
@Chemeckia6 күн бұрын
Sounds like you’ve been through a lot and I feel your pain 😭. I suggest doing your normal skincare routine as soon as you can remove your makeup each day, apply the niacinamide, then put the patches on. The patches will definitely speed up the healing process and help with hyperpigmentation. Leave them on for as long as you can, or until you need to apply makeup again. I personally think you get more benefit if you can leave the patches on for as long as possible because this let’s the skin do it’s own natural healing process without interruption.

All classy and professional looks! You look great 🙂but I gotta ask - does corporate style dim your your preferred aesthetic? I find myself dressing in lots of black, brown, and navy for corporate jobs when I’d much rather be dressed in bright jewel tones - rich purple, verdant green, cheery coral etc.
@Chemeckia17 күн бұрын
Thank you 😊 and great question! I’ve always enjoyed neutrals AND bright/rich colors and I’ve always worn both to work. I would encourage you to wear the clothes that you feel best in because we spend so much time at work and how you feel in your clothing can really impact your mood/energy levels. I’ve had coworkers comment on my “distinct” style and it’s always been positive. You’ll definitely stand out in the clothes you feel best in and you can use that to your advantage!

I landed on your channel today looking for comparisons between the revair and the airstrait. On your video about the *new* revair, you seemed really impressed by the improvements... are you still using that, or do you mostly use the Dyson? My daughter has very thick, long 4b/c hair and I'm trying to decide which is best and least stressful for us both. These 1.5 hour blow outs are not the business lol
@Chemeckia24 күн бұрын
I totally understand how tiring a long blow out session can be! I alternate quite a bit between the Dyson and the Revair. If I want my hair to be as straight as possible without using a flat iron, I use the Airstrait. If I know I’ll be wearing my hair up, I use the Revair because it’s faster and I think it’s slightly healthier for the hair. Revair results are a little fluffy compared to the Airstrait results. Here are two short videos that show how I typically style my hair after using each tool. Airstrait as a base for wearing it down with heartless curls: kzbin.infoS6yK3JXgRt0?feature=share Revair as the base for an updo: kzbin.infoeNgeF0xdmP0?feature=share Hope this helps!
@1021Marcy25 күн бұрын
Thanks for your analysis. I believe the airstrait might be the best for me. I also live in South Korea so Revair will not work here & I can't buy it. There's a Dyson store in Seoul & I can pick this up. I have high density hair, but fine strands & I'm really struggling with mechanical damage from comb attachments & brushes. I do think Shark Flexstyle is better than Dyson Airwrap when it comes to mechanical damage, the bristles on the brush are more gentle, so I usually use that one for a silk press. But for a regular blowout or a stretch I think the airstrait will be my go-to everyday dryer.
@Chemeckia24 күн бұрын
This makes complete sense, hopefully you’ll get good results with the Airstrait since it does have bristles. Let me know how you like it!

Is there a reason you aren’t using hair spray (like don’t like the drying alcohol?)? My hair doesn’t usually hold curls even those from a curling iron unless I use hairspray.
@ChemeckiaАй бұрын
The only holding spray I had on hand at the time was a sticky heat protectant that’s better for when I flat iron my hair. I agree that using a traditional hair spray may have helped in this situation! I find that the fragrances in most hair sprays are overwhelming to me 😭
Yes, it’s a dryer and I love it. I still use it frequently.

@ChemeckiaАй бұрын
Good question! It’s wet and I’m using the wet-to-dry mode. I re-wet sections if they dry out too much because I get smoother results when I start with wetter hair that’s more pliable/flexible if that makes sense.

@Chemeckia3 ай бұрын
@@johnewilliams7800 My new dermatologist even suggested I try it again with an updated technique. She would do a small spot test on the side of my face first if I decide to try it again and that seems like a reasonable way to reduce the risk of a major issue.

Definitely would use a different serum if I did it again. Some places also recommend that you apply hydroquinone for two weeks before the treatment so that might be something to consider. I’ve also heard that RF micro needling is more powerful but I haven’t done much research on the topic. I think Dr. Rajani has videos on RF micro needling though, might be worth checking out.
