14:59 In this version, when the gods come to save Krishna from Bakasura, Bakasura was originally named Utkala, the son of the demon Hayagriva. He defeated all the gods and plundered their wealth. One day, he went to the River Ganga for fishing. Over there, a Sage named Jaljali was meditating. Utkala’s fishing disturbed his meditation. The Sage requested him to stop fishing and leave, but Utkala refused. Sage Jaljali then cursed him saying, “O unfortunate one, you love to eat fish like a heron. So become one.” And this way, Prince Utkala became Bakasura. After being cursed, he realized his mistake and begged the sage for forgiveness. Seeing his repentance, Sage Jaljali blessed him saying that in the Dwapar Yug, he will be freed from the curse by Lord Krishna who is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
