Honestly thats how it is with vr. Its like a sport, you spend time practicing and getting good. There are plenty of games like what your talking about where you dont need to learn anything, like if you mod blade and sorcery your essentially a god, but theres games like pavlov and sparc, if you want to get good you gotta put in time and effort, cause your going against other people. So when you finally do get good, its much more awesome than just constant murdering, which can be fun but isnt fulfilling. Also, as far as haptic suits go, in the movie that was a top of the line full body suit, those arent commonplace at all, usually what your gonna get is chest, arms, and legs. Some people actually do get crotch tho, i once pissed off a guy by punching his dick

Problems here. Tried to start with other YT instruction video, but ran into problems. Tried this instruction three times without success. 1 - My GTC Warning light does not light, so continued forward. 2 - The Right Inverter Switch turned on a light above the switch which is SEL PWR OUT. 3 - After engine 1 Condition Lever moved forward, engine 1 Toggle will not stay in START position, nor does light above it go on. This is as far as I went.

Perhaps try using the checklist from the dropdown menu. It's pretty detailed and even highlights whatever switches are used in each step.

Nope, you need the standalone (not Steam) version of Virtual Desktop.

Apparently, you can if you set High Quality and 90fps in Virtual Desktop. It will be black and white and low rez, but it should work.

Complaints about GPS and getting to altitude with autopilot, the fun of flight sim for me is doing these things manually, flying vfr when I can. I know I know “tell us you’re a low hours pilot without telling us you’re a low hours pilot” lol. Great vid, thank you!

Is there no short cut to get it slaved to a GPS track from a tool like GTN750 or something? Some European airforces had the H-model with CDU and FMC (Boeing stylish). Captain Sim just went cheap in programming as the always have for the last twenty years

I appreciated your video. I would gladly buy this plane if it had GPS navigation like the Azurepoly does. I have different variations of captain Sim 777 and 767 and really enjoy them. Unless CS adds GPS to theirs I will have to wait for Blackbird’s series 7 variation. However I prefer Captain Sims.

Yea, the Captain Sim C130 could use a variation that includes a GPS, that would be nice. However, the C130H that is offered here doesn't have GPS and at least that's real-world accurate. I haven't seen any other c130's for purchase. Azurepoly does offer a twin engine C160. they look slightly similar, but are very different.

If you set Voice attack up like this, It will ignore EVERYTHING you say except "one point one" "two point two" " three point three" and so on... When you say " one point one" or "two point two" or any other such number, it will press the corresponding key on your keyboard. If you use this with air traffic control you can make selections on the menu in game without having to actually press the keys.

@@LazerboltVids the problem now I’m having is I’m saying my clearance etc and I say 1.1 and it doesn’t talk to atc it just clicks the first example like I was asking for clearance to take of and I said 1.1 after I finished talking and it switched frequencies

You don't say 1.1 every time. You must finish each sentence with the number that corresponds to the number on the ATC list of options. It's often 1.1, but not always.

Sorry, no. You need to climb to the desired altitude, and then hold it there with the altitude control switch. Thanks for watching!

I need help, i cant get reality mixer to work because the setting for camera in steamvr is missing. If i cant allow permission for it to use camera then reality mixer becomes useless. Just colored boxes. Some sources have said reinstalling usb drives but i dont understand how that would help, any thoughts?

My favorite way to play is to turn off traffic and drive as fast as possible, mainly by weaving in between traffic and going on the wrong side. Bonus points if you have the mod on that increases traffic

Hello, I know I am late to the party but I have been watching your great instructional video on how to set up reality mixer with virtual desktop via my pc wirelessly to my Quest 3. For some reason I cannot get just the boxes to allow pass through, I get the whole passthrough. I have a screen grab if you let me post it. Any help would be appreciated.

Since you are able to start the car at all suggests that your car has already had this done to it. I would check the wire to see if it is coming lose or something.

Yup, but you still need SteamVR. I have the Steam version so I've never tried it, but all you need to do is start SteamVR first, then launch MSFS. When you enter VR mode in game it should use SteamVR as the runtime. Hope this helps

Reality mixer is a great utility. The only problem I have is that the boxes move between sessions and I need to move them back. I haven't been able to figure out how to keep them anchored.

Tried both of these, can't figure it out. Bought Virtual Desktop off steam. There is no setting for Vr Passthrough setting. Maybe this is just for Oculus Meta Headsets. Maybe it doesn't work with Valve Index or I have to figure out how to turn cameras on. Got Reality mixer, run it and I get a fuzzy box behind me, that I can't move or resize in the VR Home.

Love this video, was really helpful setting it up. I was also set up the iPad to work as the mfd in dcs, unfortunately pass through doesn’t seem to like it. For now I’m using pass through and the mfd frame but would love to have it on the iPad, and then use pass through to see that mfd

My wife and I just got the MQ3 and are following your tutorial to set it up. Had to buy Virtual Desktop and Reality Mixer but they weren't expensive. I think we're about ready now and hopefully tomorrow we'll be flying our Fokker D7F sim pod in Passthrough VR with IL2 Sturmovik Flying Circus. We like the WW1 kites. 😊 Stand-buy for what promises to be some very interesting in-cockpit views of these VR dogfights. And thanks for your efforts in producing this video; it's been a lot of help. I dont even see how you can consider fab365 a scam. the models are great the prices on the models are well with in reason most are cheaper then i expect. I had no issues blowing $100 on prints on fab365 site. and im very happy with every single model i have bought from them. they even provide a free model when you get a account to make sure you can print it before you send any kind of payment.

You can actually do this on the Quest 2. Try selecting High Quality and 90fps, like it says in the gray text bellow VR passthrough. I tried and worked fine
