I think the unicorn didn't work because it's an obscure language which was why they used that in the first place. It's just a good example of knowing the concept of a unicorn and being able to apply that in ways almost nobody (likely nobody) on the internet would have done.

Unfortunately the way I got it is I bought it from Amazon, but there's likely other ways if you know Google Foo, just saying, not endorsing. But if you do that then you can still upload the pdf to Amazon Cloud Reader as a document.

20:41 i believe you can only move the env to the same OS type, as if you developed on Windows and give it to a MAC user , it will not work as MAC dose not execute exe version files

and also, i tried to copy the folder and move it to different place in the same PC , but i had to modify the script 'activate' as it was pointing to the old directory.

the issue of the PATH variable for 9 installation is that you need to close and reopen the session (CMD session) so the PATH variable be loaded again , and in windows you can update the PATH variable as in Linux, or you can cd to the installation directory and run it

I'm noticing that during the chess game I had it mixed up in my mind which black piece represented the king. ChatGPT actually had it right and made a valid move, but the point remains that it just took my word at face value without any pushback. A human would get confused or even angry and would question me about why I wouldn't let them make their intended move. ChatGPT just takes whatever I say as the truth and then glitches out trying to do abide by it's programming instead of expressing a conscious sense that it knows that it's playing chess and fully understands everything associated with that, such as a less skilled player not understanding how to make sense of a simple move.

You need the images. Fortunately, unlike Cisco, there's a decided free to use lab image by Juniper, called Olive. Check out this walkthrough for how to set it up: www.packetmischief.ca/juniper-olive/

Most people are likely choosing caffeine as their magic potion. There are well known disadvantages to caffeine, such as sleep disruption, withdrawal effects, and tolerance effects. Nicotine is probably the second most common choice, and the disadvantages are even greater: addiction, smoking damage (low dose gum or patch is the only consumption method for nicotine that makes sense to me, but probably not nearly as common or convenient as smoking), and blood vessel damage. My mind set is win-win. I want all of the pros and none of the cons. Drinking water and eating apples is an example of something with all pros and no cons, unless done excessively to an extent beyond what is practical and realistic. Exercise is another great example of > 99% pros with < 1% cons. I believe that many problems have these sort of solutions, but since you don't know what you don't know, often times convenient and widely available > 50% pro, < 50% con solutions, or worse, take over. These kinds of solutions allow people get to get by. Caffeine and nicotine are great examples. But the point is the have the most fantastical, wonderful, amazing life possible - right?

Thanks for the information. If we are building our own lab with vMX & vSRX images, how much devices do you think should we have to use for the complete topology. Also what would be your RAM and CPU recommendations.
@techyesplc
@techyesplc 3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the cert. For the JNCIE-SP I recommend at least 8 vMX images, but 11 or 12 is probably better. For each image, you'll need to satisfy the following requirements: www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/vmx/information-products/topic-collections/release-notes/19.1/system-requirements.html The most important thing I recommend is using Ubuntu Server version 18.04 to run GNS3. Without changing any hardware I got a gigantic boost in performance just by switching away from ESXi.

Hey Graham. When are you taking JNCIE-SP exam again.? Have you thought about buying Juniper Self study bundle.?
@techyesplc
@techyesplc 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sirdhar. Yes, I think the study bundle is the way to go. The study I did for my first attempt was just too far off scope, and the resources I had (free juniper docs) were too incomplete and erroneous. My retake would have to be before August, but I really do think I might be able to pass if I really buckle down and focus on it for the less than two months I have. The problem is that I'm really questioning the value of the JNCIE-SP, but the motivation and comments I've gotten from this channel really have been inspiring. I'll see what I can do. Hopefully I can get the spark back. Really, less than two months of just pausing everything to focus on this one goal would be worth it, pass or fail. At least I could say in the end that I did all of the right things to pass.

@@techyesplc I was / am interested in your study for JNCIE-SP. Looking forward for your video on your attempt. Though I am not even a JNCIS, I went thru few blogs in Reddit about JNCIE self study bundle before asking here. One of them was from Fryguy who had mentioned about Self Study bundle being a great deal, especially after it was taken over from InetZero by Juniper, rebranded and added few hours of Lab (2 * Super Lab are worth mentioning). So your decision about Juiper Self study bundle would yield some good results for you. This is what I believe. Truth be told, I am taking my JNCIS-SP by next week, inspired by people like you, Chris Parker from networkfuntime, Knox Hutchinson from DataKnox to name a few. Finally All the very best. Love & Support from India.
