Hey ho... I did not run through all the comments but I wanted to drop this idea: as can be seen from your measurements things are saturating from stage to stage. I was wondering if you could build a power staged setup where each new stage has a higher voltage applied same like for multi staged turbo chargers in cars or for turbines in jet engines. You could further more improve the efficiency now as you may measure the optimal power supply for each stage now thus may increase the overall efficiency in both, thrust and power consumption. (Hope you could understand my explanation, if not, reach out to me 😅)

In respect to the spacing and minimal change to speed. Maybe it’s true that volume of air increases not just speed. Try using thrust as a base measurement instead of speed

Haven't seen a comment about it, but I'm thinking about this design a bit. You're trying to take in air that is ionized to go from a negative to a positive (Am I right?) through the air (electrical field and magnetic field). Repelling negative air ion from negative and attracting them to the positive, right ? So instead of making stuff linear, why not try to make them more like a zig-zag (or cavity-like (like the leaf)) to get a better surface to react to the attraction ? Like if 2 leaf where actually made of copper. This would make the "acceleration" more linear I believe and spreading them apart should enable you to make a better distance... I don't know how you could do that design to get bigger "wire" to propagate current and tension to smaller "wire" as to divide the load in a way to avoid melting smaller branches, but I firmly believe it would help. Like the little dent you did based on Integza design (which I see you also did on your last 2 models). Trying to make an imperfect shape may actually give you better result then a linear rail that I keep seeing in your designs.

You should have put the thrusters on the bottom, better in flight stability, clears the top off for a solar panel and then you can put some high density proppelant or batteries in the wing

so the first iteration sucked because of diminishing returns and created a v2 with the same flaw? what you are doing is taking a ball and kicking it with your 10kmh moving foot over and over again, it won’t stack. densen the airflow while keeping the same speed for more output or go back to your v 2.1 where you had multiple fans actually converge.

Just a thought, what if you arranged it with slightly turned to create an angled output creating a vortex with increased center like a hurricane spiral based on the golden angle and Fibonacci series of numbers? It’s in nature everywhere

POTENTIAL EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT. What we are attempting with this, is the movement of maximum air mass, from the input of the device, to the output of the device, while minimising losses and or negtive force vectors. Major problems include: 1. Radial thrust losses instead of axial thrust gains. 2. Cross sectional area against the direction of movement (drag). 3. Reduction in low pressure at the input/head. 4. Reduction in high pressure at the output/tail. 5. Flowrate limitations of the cylinder that contains the axial airflow. Historically, my main idea has always been a solid state propulsion device, that is no more than a tube or trumpet (velocity stack), with an active surface. Using a series of electrically/mechanically/magnetically isolated rings along the length, which can change the localised pressure/vaccum/ion state along the axis, enables a pump which resembles a sign wave moving along the axis, which drags the air through the container. This to be done by charged ions dragging the uncharged air through the device with it. Someone below suggested using stages with different pressure stages (like modern steam turbine energy recovery) to make the system more efficient, but there is also another way. The way nature gets around increasing the flowrate limitation problem of a fixed diameter orifice, is to create a vortex. Fundamentally, by spinning the airflow like a cenrtufuge, you create low pressure at the center of the axis, which drags in more air than normally possible, while also creating greater pressure at the wallls, where the active component of the thrust mechanism, actually does its work. In theory then, you should be able to improve all 5 of the elements listed above, by using a phase shifted/pulsed vortex...or literally create an archimedes screw in an electrical/ion drive sense, by using an active surface. Where the effective rotation of the field, drags the ions in both an axial and rotational motion.

Interesting fact is that such a generators gives you usually about a hundred(s) thousand volts and the current in that sparks rises up to several dozens of amps that considered absolutely lethal. BUT the time it acts so short (nanoseconds) that any damage just doesn't have time to happen.

I suspect the reason why you get diminishing returns on velocity with the old sequential design has less to do with your explanation and more with the simple fact that you add the same kinetic energy at each stage and the kinetic energy being proportional to the square of the velocity. You would expect a the results your getting since velocity is proportional to the square root of the kinetic energy

It's possible that the triangle shape is creating too much interference, causing the air to fight itself to get out, ie drag. I don't know how you'd test that though; confetti in a fire resistant room? Maybe try a box, with thrusters on just two opposing side. Or, if you wanna keep the three sides of thrusters, you could try the bestagon approach, and connect them with three equal blank sides. Likewise, you may wanna try containing the entire unit in a sleeve. You can get cardboard tubes of varying diameters at the local hardware store. For shits and giggles, you could try funneling the exhaust.
