I just bought this and it has amazing features but I had to make about 20 coffees before the coffee stopped being weak and watery. Philips doesn’t tell you this anywhere.

Hi I added preground coffee when the machine is off but it should be added when machine is on. While doing coffee, I added one scoop more when it's on cause machine request it. Does it harm to machine? What can I do to clean it?

I want a model that makes Americano. I see your chart shows only the 2 most expensive ones. I’m surprised. I wanted to get a less expensive model. Am I missing one? Isn’t there a 3200?

Hi! Yes, I know it seems strange, but since the new range of Philips coffee machines now includes the "Cold Brew" functionality, the Americano coffee has disappeared from the menu. You always have the option to make an espresso and then press the hot water button to prepare an Americano to your liking. Another option would be to buy the previous model, the 3200. As for the 3300, it's true that it doesn't include the Cold Brew and Silent Brew options, but it's always an alternative. We hope we've helped you with your questions. So I’m going to have to go with the 4400 which has both and more coffee settings than I really need. Where I am it is on sale for $799.

Both machines are quite similar, but the 5500 some small extras. 5500 can prepare 20 recipes (4400 just 12), 5500 can memorize 4 different profiles (4400 just 2) and function extra shot is exclusive of 5500 in all Philips Range. Can you explain which is the system for the cold iced coffee? It is a cold brew coffee? Which is the cold infusion?

Screen tells you to put ice in a cup and it puts the hot coffee and milk over it :/ Ice coffee is never the same as cold brew. Cold Brew can never be made by an espresso machine.

@@Kim-zb9zp To further clarify, does the Lattego 5500 produce a beverage at a slightly lower (room temperature) level to avoid melting ice and creating a watery drink utilizing the iced beverage function? The Eletta Explore has this function. Thank you!

@@SJL2506 No It makes a more strong coffee so it's more like a normal brew when mixed with ice that becomes iced coffee. So it get's mixed with the melted water so it's less strong after. It completly melts the ice unless you put a lot of extra ice in it.

Yes, the 5500 is able to prepare Flat White recipes. In the table of the video there is a problem with the translation, sorry. Where it puts "cafe con leche" should be "flat white". Regards!

"Only pushing one button..." After you filled water tank, milk tank, coffe beans, selecting menu (multiple button clicks). Then after each use clean the milk tank, clean water nozzle by using clean program.. Yeah sure.. .right.. its soooo easy ;) Also super easy to buy all the epensive accessories you need like, cleaning tables, calc stopper, oil... etc etc.. While throwing away thousands of small plastic bottles in the garbage.
