It is hard to find! Only in the bigger supermarkets and that’s why I travel with it. (Some village shops won’t even know what you mean) Lol, in this series I have been really pushing peanut butter! Thanks so much for watching and Buen Camino!

That feeling you get when you were standing there admiring the ocean and the scenery...i sooo get that 🙂 I walked for 3 months to Santiago from my home and i can't telle you the times i just stood there and said to myself multiple time "look at that". When i turned a 360, north, east, south and west...4 postcards, right there 🙂♥

Your Norte videos are so good! The views are amazing! Makes me want to get back on the Camino. I'm watching with great interest because I'd love to do the Norte but I'm intimidated by what is the perceived difficulty.Your clothes drying woes are so relatable. I feel like I hiked most of the last few days of the PT Central route with clothes hanging off my pack.

Thanks for watching and “walking” with me Catherine! The Norte is really challenging and the infrastructure is still wanting….but the Primitivo is the best of both worlds! Challenging bout SUPER supported and the most well marked trail I have yet to encounter! Lol, MORE TO COME! (And yes, I do eventually crossover to the Primitivo in this series…so stay tuned for that! (The contrast is amazing!)

I LOVE my Nimble! I can get 3-4 full charges out of it. Also, if you are using any type of map/tracking app, as you probably already know, they drain your battery! So it’s good to have a small cell on you for that too. Thanks for watching Slvr! BUEN CAMINO!

On my August Camino Portuguese I screwed up and packed the wrong plug and cords. I could charge my AirPods and Apple watch but not my phone. 😬 After I got to my albergue with my phone at 6% battery I had to Uber to a shop to get what I needed. For my next hike I’ll be getting that whiz bang cord you just showed. BTW, your video on the red light was great! That was a good hack I used often. And the phone alarms…what the h**l! Some 🤡 used the sound one would expect to hear if a nuclear missile 🚨was on its way. SMH Anyway, love your hack videos!

@@W56Scribesi’m messing around and modifying KEEN Men's Hyperport H2s! Sanded the factory treads of and gluing on some Vibrams! Also adding an Innersole and a nee lace system. I feel like these are almost perfect…just wish they consulted me first! 😅As for the Merrells, I’m kinda loving the Moab Speed 2 Vent 2Ks! Adding tweaks to those as well! (See my insta for that!)- Been filming a lot of the process with the Keen’s so hopefully that will manifest i to some kinda vid!

Drying times were dramatically longer on the Ingles last week. On the last day I fashioned some ghetto plastic bag cover for the front 2/3rds of my shoes and it kept the front of my feet dry all day. Used newspaper inside to absorb the moisture as well.

@ShellToucher314 I did, the dry mile ones you showcased but found they kept too much heat in and my feet got wet all by themselves. I did use them one day walking around in Betanzos with wet shoes and just wearing them alone my feet did stay dry but for each day on the path I relied on the Tabio socks and liners. They did a great job!
