As skilled roadworker of 22 years been reinstating utilities gas and water from the backfilling to the asphalt and hotbox driver this is just a gimmick and is absolutely useless and won’t be cost effective it’s simple get your clients out of the office get them back on site and do the simple math to calculate the amount of Tar needed but it’s all down to a simple case of management trying to push to get too much done in a days work with setting impossible targets instead of getting enough asphalt to the right amount of jobs they put too much jobs down that can never get completed and then the waste tar goes to the tip Like I said get your clients out checking and measure the jobs or whoever does the back fills get them to measure exactly the size depth do all the cut backs and it’s a simple case of the reinstatement team to come in and do the tar it’s not rocket science but this is just a gimmick and the towing these trailers into some of the housing schemes dead ends etc is also a nightmare for the drivers and an accident waiting to happen that’s why most utilities have went down to using pickups with roller thats it not these big useless trailers but it’s typical of someone coming up with an idea that’s never done the day to day job
