best initial money ever spent, LV 6 key ring, card case and zippy wallet. Then my Hermes Silkin compact wallet and my calvis. I use these all the time and have had them for 20+ years. Keychains are things to buy cheap. Agree on the merch stuff. Shoes are iffy. High end shoes don't always wear well and they are aways sized weird. Belts are a fun addition. They really aren't everywhere in normal life and you will get a lot of use out of them with very simple clothing pieces. You do only need one or two though. phone case etc are never a good purchase.

While everyone's work is different I don't think I'd advise wearing designer into the office (that have logos, this doesn't apply to anything with no logos). It's really unfortunate but I feel as though wearing anything designer / logo heavy can work against you in the office. It's sad but people can pass judgment on how you spend your money or even work against you when it's time to get a promotion. It's sad truly, but at least if you're not wearing it to the office, you're giving no reason for others to critique or pass judgment. People should wear the things they worked hard for but for me personally, I would never wear anything with a strong logo into the office. But that being said.... I feel as though Ferragamo isn't logo heavy and it's a more "if you know kind of logo". So if you find that the logo isn't hugely in your face, I'd say you should be fine wearing them! (sorry for the very long comment, just trying to be helpful as I also have to hold back on wearing designer handbags/shoes into the office

I’m 24 and I’m a system administrator so I work on IT, unfortunately I’d wear multiple times my ferragamo belt, LV trainer sneakers even my LV outdoor messenger men bag, on my office Only the directors/Vice Presidents usually wear Designer shoes/bags/ties etc. I think I agree with you on everything you said, maybe this will damage my promotion of course and trust me my colleges judge me on what I spend my money, but what can I do if Designer is the thing that I truly love/enjoy? I will not stop wear my designer only because people will judge me and I don’t care what they think to be honest but yeah is sad people getting mad or saying something about how other people spend their money … What I will do is wear it less and less to the office maybe just 1 friday every 2 weeks or something like this and if I change my work to another Company I will Not wear my designer.

I just don’t get it why people hate the designer belt. You can argue that all designer purchases are now everywhere on social media. Nothing is unique or special anymore. VCA, Cartier en Hermes are everywhere. So what ever you buy you should think about it for at least one year. You should consider Cost per wear, does the item really suit you, quality, diversity and is it something you would wear for years. Or would you get tired of it easily. Also don’t wear everything at the same time. For me I buy things with no to extreme minimal logo. And when I am in the mood and it suits the outfit i am wearing I would wear a belt with a small logo. Nothing more. Just very simple and minimal.

Designer SLG’s used to be very affordable 20/30 years ago, I’ll never buy them New anymore. 30 years of collecting luxury, just can’t part with good money on over priced items in the current market. That said my collection of vintage pieces have withstood time & have been handed down to my adult daughters. Great tips, new subscriber here👍🏻

It's no question the luxury market has become insane but hopefully time will tell and the market prices will be adjusted. Something has to be done with all the brands plummeting in sales. But if you love vintage handbags and SLG's then you've come to the right place :) So glad you are here ❣

I hardly ever scroll pinterest because the outfits it proposes are all the same, and all for skinny people who are far away from me. I am just so inspired by colors, paintings, makeup, and ultimately, like you said…what I feel confident in for my body type. Obviously there are guidelines I use that are heavily inspired by French lifestyle, but yeah… I think the biggest trap about fidning personal style is that most people who talk about it have the same “personal” style and it makes everything so impersonal.

Honestly just go for stainless steel or another shiny metal. If someone asks you if it's silver ask them why they care about what your jewelry is made out of. Its just rocks and metals, and if you think it looks good, wear it. anything where i metal is covering something else isnt ideal though because it WILL come off.

i'm not sure this is exactly the same thing, but I do remember kylie jenner wore a sheer ish versace dress in 2017 to the met and I remember donatella really wanted her in a blonde bob wig. It didn't suit her at all, and didn't seem like what she would personally do. Felt like a missed opportunity to do her hair the way she would want and add her personal flair

I really notice when you pull up the runway and celeb look side by side the lack of practicality in tucking in the dress really hurts the look. I love the effect of the runway looks with the knee high boots put out in front but I can't imagine that's easy to wear. Also honestly tall ass boots like that look best on tall people so I really don't think the full runway look benefits the body type of all the celebs. (example the lovely Sydney sweeny who is more petite was put in those over the knee boots by this Chloe rule!!!)

Very good point! No, ahaha I don't see the tall knee high boots as an easy to wear/everyday piece that's for sure. Thats's the importance of dressing for your body type that I don't believe the rule considers :/
