i believe they had a fill-in vocalist for this tour. who became their full time vocalist, shortly afterwards.

last time I saw them was 2016 somewhere in Anaheim I think, at a place called cross action? anyway I just remember the venue didn't sell booze, like wtf. to finish the story the laptop that had all their midi patches and such for the show wasn't turning on, so they did sort a "raw" set, half way through Jesse from Erra got it to turn on. but man ill say the energy that came off these gents was intense and sounded every bit just as good with or without all the fluff. Loving the new stuff and after watching this looking real forward to seeing them again. they landed extremely well with Marcus Vik.

Holy shit does Marcus and the band as a whole sound so good here. I haven't seen them live since they were on the Trilogy tour with Currents and Silent Planet and Marcus was still a little off. Heavener is easily AOTY.

How do you record desk audio, without being the sound engineer? Back in the day many bootlegs were recorded through the desk and I always thought the person just plugged their gear in without being caught

Hey man! I am Conjurer's sound engineer so normally I record a board mix every night that I can, but I couldn't take a board mix that night at Islington because the foh desk was a Pro2 and I was using my interface already. Other times on a Pro2 I've setup a matrix to record to my interface but I only had my 2channel that night so I couldn't unfortunately, it was an amazing show that night! The audio in this video is just the audio from the mic on my phone which I had on a mic stand at FOH.
