No idea, it wasn’t that loud though, deft quieter than any large bore cruiser. Sounded like a coked out lawn mower.

All of these videos were just a compilation of the tiktoks I made for the bike which was never intended to be a how to, more so just a build thread. I also got rid of the bike shortly after these. I did pick up a new project that I do plan to go more in depth on similar to how you stated. Thank you for the feed back!

That’s awesome! I hear they are great first bikes, and the previous owner was talking about how fun it was in the mountains back in the day. I really can’t wait to get started on it and get the chance to ride it. It’s going to be a slow process though, I’ve got my work cut out for me on the cbr and the wife’s gsxr currently.

The Dragon is fine when it's clear, but it never is on a weekend. We ran it a few times this weekend, but we had much more fun running the entire Foothills Parkway at triple digits... Also, Wayah Rd is a lot of fun....
@cbrawr1000rr Жыл бұрын
We really enjoyed the dragon when we went, but we went in the fall while it was really cold. I would never go out of my way to ride it in season with all of the other people out there. It’s a novelty road, have to do it and it’s fun but not worth the hype. The roads surrounding the dragon though are awesome.
@t1d_bikeguy420 Жыл бұрын
Looks way less technical than the dragon. Like a flat 215
@cbrawr1000rr Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s deft similar to the 215. It’s Twice as long as the dragon, a fraction as busy (my favorite part), and there are 2 really good sections that are really twisty. Definitely not as technical as the dragon by any means but it was loads of fun. I feel it was more of a Harley destination route then a sport bike route.

Thanks dude! Deft feeling better and better every ride out on the mountains. Once we hit 215 I started feeling a lot more cautious though and want running as smooth. The rattler itself (which will be coming out later today) though I felt pretty good. Still want to get out on a ride with you soon.

@cbrawr1000rr Жыл бұрын
I’m riding the cbr1000, hence the name. The 750 is tuned and set up for drag racing, the 1k is set for twisties. He also frequents the drag strip, this was only my second time on the 1k. The guy on the 600 got me on the first run against him, I was still getting familiar with my take off. It’s also an 1/8 mile track

Get cheap 2 pin LED relay from amzn for $7. If still no blink remove either the lt blue or orange wire that is in wire box up front that goes to the "indicators". It should then flash properly. The other option is resistor on each leg which I found to be a pain. I would rather not have the indicator and be done. This has worked for me on 2 of these cycles. Just make sure to tape the open wire to prevent a short.
@cbrawr1000rr Жыл бұрын
I wasn’t going to dig to hard into it, if I were planning to keep the bike long term I would have went LED. I picked up a vstar 650 project that I was ready to kickstart.

@cbrawr1000rr Жыл бұрын
Most definitely man, I’ll try to do a walk around on the bikes in the next week or so after we wash them. As for the sv, it would have cost more then it was worth to set the bike up the way I wanted to so I just went ahead and got the cbr with the intent of using it for track and mountain rides. I do miss it for city riding though. I ended up actually trading the sv for a cb500x then traded that for a vstar 650 that I’m currently working on.
