This is a product video!!! Wow! It’s been so long since I’ve seen a video that made me this excited and passionate about a product. Way to go Lutron! I would love to see videos like this for the other product lines, like HomeWorks and RadioRA 3. The last time RadioRA had a video like this was for the first RadioRA and it came on VHS. I still have it and show it to clients because nothing better exists. These are the kinds of videos that sell the products by helping to create passionate customers for life!

How do I set the dimmer level to a certain level automatically? I see videos on how-to with a different wall dimmer, but not this one.

I have 3 black wires coming into my current switch and an unused bare copper wire, and a an unused white wire. How am I supposed to know which wires are negative and positive and which ones to use when all 3 are black?

Please put up a video explaining the same installs but with a switch leg, not one wire running all the way through the switch junction box and on to the fixture. If I figure it out first I’ll edit this comment.

My wife bought this and what they don't make clear is if you just buy the "smart" plug/switch you will need to buy an additional hub to connect it to anything for an additional cost. I have the "smart" plug-in switch sitting on my desk right now but by itself its just an on/off switch. I didn't want to have to plug in and unplug my lights all the time. With the Lutron, I still have to go to the plug and push the button. I can't connect to the app, I can't connect to my wifi. Nothing without the additional hub. Why? I wanted a smart plug. Instead, I have an $80 on/off button. It is far from "smart" if you only have the plug-in switch. Take the word smart off this product until you only sell it with the hub together. It is a dumb on/off switch and this is all, I will be returning it asap.

This doesn’t tell you what to do if there is a red power wire and two black wires. You could easily mix up the two black wires.

tried this several times will not save to be at the top when i turn it on, aka to be the brightest. It used to work, now when i turn it on it is just on the lowest setting

Gees, after trying to install this Sunnata switch, I was very confused. My wiring is nothing like in the video. In the spot I was trying to install the dimmer, I have two black wires bundled to the existing switch, one red wire, and another separate black wire. On the other light switch on the other wall, that switch has two red wires and one black wire. I tried various wiring combinations and I cannot get the 3-way switch to work. If the new Sunnata switch it turned off, then the other switch cannot turn the light back on. I wish this switch wired like other regular switches. Hopefully Home Depot will accept it as a return. I and not paying an electrician hundreds to install a light switch.

Do these switches work independently or you need a base unit as well?

I tried to install two dimmer switches and tried to make them work together but it won’t work why??? Does the second one needs to be an “accessory switch” that has no dimmer? I just return that set after making it to work. Now trying to install both dimmers and that won’t work?

Hi, I’m having some trouble pairing the dimmers and remotes. It’s always been easy in the past but I moved and now I can’t get them set up. When I press and hold the off button on the dimmer, the light on the dimmer stays on and never blinks indicating it’s ready to pair. I’m trying to pair three lamps with three interchangable remotes. Is it too many remotes maybe? I didn’t use the app. Thanks

Jesus Christ... every example completely avoids the reality of what's in the wall. 3 wires coming out 1. BLACK, 2. WHITE, 3. GROUND. The ground is a no brainer, but does the white wire connect to the RED wired from the switch, or the BLACK Wire???? Which, you would THINK - black to black.... but no, let's post a video to help "do-it-yourself" people out and completely sidestep the obvious issue. By the way, there isn't two white wires tied together coming out of my wall. Can someone (please) tell me in the example above, what the white wire should connect to?
