16 wet!! Geez I can't even do 16 dry (never really dry considering the big ruts have water nearly all the time even when conditions are dry). I backed out on 16 nearly 20 minutes in cause I knew what I was getting into, plus last time I was there my rig was less capable than it is now. 16 needs to no longer be a badge trail in my opinion just like Gutbuster in Stony Lonesome was finally removed from the program. It's getting worse and worse especially when wet and people (mainly SxS's) dig the ruts even deeper. Besides I'm personally over getting trail damage. Just replaced my passenger side tail and rear bumper from Switchback at Stony Lonesome. Good video though nonetheless! Y'all have it hell especially in what looks like ATs and wet conditions
@rubiatoroutdoors18 күн бұрын
@sarge502jeep we started that trail around 10 am and got off at around 10 pm. Gutbuster was an impossible trail, and I tried a bunch of times. I didn't know it was removed, but I knew my count was off. I have 34 badges on the truck, but only 33 on the app.
@sarge502jeep18 күн бұрын
@@rubiatoroutdoors yup removed Gutbuster earlier this year. They had been trying to remove that for the longest. Ive logged only 12 badges. However to be fair I only display 9 on the truck out of "honor" considering I didn't fully complete 16, and trails 2x and 3x at Redbird SRA.

Which makes economical sense for the business -Jeep is affordable for many budgets - not many drive theirs up steep cliffs. Honestly the Mopar lift isn't complete. The lower control arms aren't log enough for the height the springs give. Also you at least need a front adjustable trackbar to center the axle. I also put a rear adjustable trackbar on. I bought my Mopar lift on ebay for $850 originally

@rubiatoroutdoors2 ай бұрын
@jabersulieman8211 I do not, but at one point, I found the difference in weight between the engines and that the springs offset that weight. I can tell you it rides much stiffer than the gas springs. Is it still running normal?
@NEVERGOON1003 ай бұрын
@@rubiatoroutdoors yes, I spent an hour pressure washing the chassis and outside today, and it’s I still hear it. No performance change. Googled it and it said it could be either the filter, the pump which might be failing, or if you go off-roading the fuel sloshing in the tank could cause the pump to suck in air which can mess it up too. Google likes to put all these bad possibilities into your head at the same time so idk. Changing fuel filter soon, we’ll see what happens. 97 grand Cherokee 5.2, 130k miles btw Edit: I doubt that it could be failing because I never heard it until I went on some rough trails yesterday, leads me to believe that it could of sucked in air or something else related to the rough driving could of caused it
@rubiatoroutdoors3 ай бұрын
@LuNa-yd1fz my first thought was also the fuel pump. They have a slight vibration to them. If the pump or the line changed position, it could be barely vibrating against something. Have you ever been using a pressure washer and the pressure hose touches something as you are using it? It will make a vibrating noise... I wouldn't think it's failing if it hasn't cutout or shuddered.
@NEVERGOON1003 ай бұрын
@@rubiatoroutdoors good point, guess i was concerned because the sound sounded mechanical, like an electric motor.
