Etant moi-même organiste je trouve cette interprétation très subtile et nuancée à souhait ; seul petit reproche... le tempo est peut-être un chouilla trop rapide...

Once again a great example of how technicals and theory applied in the wrong scenario can destroy a liturgical & spiritual rite. Some of it was sheer beauty, but some of that French improv did not fit in with the solemnity of the occasion.

This organ seems to interpret Bach very well. Though its rebuild will leave it a bit larger than it was prior to the fire, hopefully when it has been rebuilt, it will have these same tones.

No mention of the lovely "asylum seeker" who burnt it down. The fire destroyed priceless artifacts and paintings. All lost forever. Diversity is our greatest strength.

Musiche bellissime, straordinarie, non saprei come definire diversamente queste splendide, vive, armoniche e soavi note. Io di solito nelle canzoncine dei miei vecchi non noto questa forza e questa imponenza del tutto, questa bella supponenza e sicurezza di dissonare con eleganza magnifica, cioè di evitare il suono normale, cioè per cristiani con un paio di orecchie normali, specie durante le messe santissime e reverendissime. I miei vecchi ci davano dentro parecchio, ma una nota su e una molto più giù, poi un qualcosa che quando uno vuole cantare gli passa la voglia, non lo avevo mai sentito così bene in vita mia, via organo. Incredibile, bellissimo ed entusiasmante, un crogiuolo di suoni che l' organo dell' orecchio non vorrebbe nemmeno essere un organo, per l' occasione. Incredibile davvero.

Ça c'est français cher Monsieur.. Se surpasser dans l'éxtrême design...Eh bien Autant que j'apprécie "assez souvent" les impros d'Olivier Lattry, autant que j'ai horreur des certaines impros quand il commence à s'acharner sur les claviers, il s'emballe et il en résulte un une musique à la limite de l'inaudible, musiques insignifiantes, tonitruantes, sans intérêts... très souvent "tarte à la crème" pour château de Dracula!. Franchement, mieux vaut s'orienter vers de vraies pièces telles que CM Widor, C Franck, Max Reger, M Dupré, M Duruflé, John Ruter etc.... C'est beaucoup moins risqué et tellement plus audible!? Surtout sachant que les invités sont de cultures très différentes..
