Virgil composed this in the late 90s for his album 'Serious Young Insects'. The original guitarist was actually Simon Hosford. The Planet X version is best though to me

@@reubennb2859 The original guitarist in "Alien Hip Hop" from "On The Virg" (guest musicians in all parts) was Brett Garsed.

Too soft the riffs , frank is a great guitar player but this not his style the jazz part ( of course) but the riffs tuning down on this video maybe he plays on drop d or half step down sounds too soft , Tony Macalpine for me is the right guy for the guitar on this band !

Actually frank is playing the keyboard parts on the rythym that On The Virg play in the original... Wich after seeing this from 1991 evolve over 300 odd gig's to its final forms.. My personal experience says this takes it to new places, new riffage.. Some of it more savage than Simon Hosfords original parts (yeah Simon helped write) ... I'd love to see Frank doing this with the original bass player Everipedes Everipedou.... There are three or four basic stylistic variations virg does with each band.... All different concepts thrown in.

@@tanemahuta7365 in Nili Brosh's version (Virgil still on drums) she plays the keyboard chords as part of the guitar riff too, it's a really heavy rendition that switches some parts around.
