I have the improved version with the bail for help in inserting the film holder in black enamel and all nickel plated hardware. For it's time I feel it is the best 5x7 out there.

The use of the phrase "come on like Gangbusters" is still commonly used, but its origin is familiar only to those over 75. There was a radio police drama called Gangbusters from 1935 to 1957. It's intro was police whistles, machine guns firing, tires squealing, sirens, shouts and screams, followed by an authoritative voice saying, "Tonight, Gangbusters presents The Case of..." anyway, when it came on, it really came on.

This camera is extremely underrated and though it has a terrific fixed-focus lense and can only take double-perforated film, the results are exceptional and I have caught image quality and detail a mile or two away that was very impressive on color film. They are available working, usually inexpensive and worth going out of your way for.

If you've seen his speeches from Circa 1999... there is very little new in this one. Recycling at its finest James. Probably a testament to his accuracy in foretelling future events.

These musicians are from another galaxy. I put the metronome on and it's amazing. Damn, they don't have a percussion guide. Is incredible. These Argentinian South Americans come out perfect. I can't believe they play without a metronometric percussion guide. I can not believe it.

great demo of these compur shutters, or it can be called "dial-set" as well, I have this type on my 5x7" Linhof technika iii ; you have used them correctly, the nipple switch, labeled I\B\T controls the function of the 'fire' switch, I is the timed mode (1\4, 1\8th second), B is bulb, you depress to open, release to close, T is Time (long exposure, over 1 second), think of a toggle switch, once to open, once to close, PS: B & T NEVER use the cocking lever!!! it can damage it, the cocking lever winds up the I or timed speeds, so they can fire, so you can't arm two of the systems simultaneously!! T can also replace the focus\preview lever on copal shutters (modern shutters you commonly see on toyo, cambo, Arca-Swiss monorails).

interesting sliding back, fyi, this style of accessory was used for the 'passport photo' as we do today, but back in the day this is how they did it, via a roto slide back, to get a 4-on sheet of photos, like in your school photo kits, but police used them to, for mug shots, well before the four lens polaroid cameras came around!
