Incidentally, I had my 2002 Corolla for 18 years from 3000 miles on the clock. It caught Covid - the dreaded Airbag light thing that couldn't be repaired. Last week I had no choice but to trade it for something cheap and cheerful and bought a 2016 1 litre Hyundai i10 with 14,000 miles on the clock and looked like it had come straight out of the showroom. I am just getting used to less engine pull but it's not a bad little car to drive where I live (the Isle of Wight UK). Not seen too many new cars on the road over here and not surprised; but used cars have doubled in price this last year and still increasing.
