Yo I know it's been a while but you need to have your mousepad basically level or just slightly below your arms if they were at a 90 degree angle. helps with control and reduces the pressure on your forearm

I was doing some shiny hunting in my original scarlet save file and I lost my 2nd shiny ever right now we have special outbreaks with boosted shiny odds to celebrate the pokemon world's championships the special outbreaks are Comfy in the Indigo Disk map, Riolu in the Teal Mask map and in the base game map we have Wattrel plus I have the shiny charm in my original scarlet save file the special outbreaks are in both scarlet and violet there's also Gimmeghoul (chest from) in the 1 -5 star Terra raids anyway I was shiny hunting in a Riolu outbreak and I lost a shiny Riolu I didn't know it could learn Final Gambit and it used it doing damage to my shiny Lucario and it fainted I saved before I just decided to continue with my shiny hunt instead of restarting my switch I ended with 4 shiny Comfy and 4 shiny Riolu from those hunts and the Wattrel hunt with nothing but it's a difficult shiny hunt because it barely changes and I almost took out a whole outbreak trying to shiny hunt it so I think I'm just going to stick with the special Comfy and special Riolu outbreaks and if I decide I want the shiny Wattrel I'll either try to trade for it or breed for it I know this is long but this is just the update from my pokemon scarlet hunts I might shiny hunt in the special outbreaks in violet because I kinda like shiny Comfy and the Riolu outbreak will complete the shiny family in violet like it did in scarlet I have yet to get the shiny charm in my original violet save file and my 2nd save files for scarlet and violet I haven't really started actually trying to complete the pokedex yet anyway sorry this is so long I have 1 more update but I can tell you about that 1 next time you go live because it's a pokemon go update
