We keep these in a temperate water (room temp) tank inside too. They breed readily and are very hardy. Ideally 16-24c so assume the pond is heated in the winter?

Sehr spannender Fisch, gute Aquariengröße, passendes Verhalten, gut erreichbare Wasserwerte, eigentlich perfekt. Wenn da nicht die etwas "unhandliche" Ernährung wäre. So bleibt er wohl doch echten Aquarianern vorbehalten. 😊🥴

es gibt Zuchtstämme, bei welchen die Kiemendeckel komplett ohne Pigmente sind und dadurch man die roten Kiemen sehen kann
