Me and a mate snuck into a cinema and saw this. Was great. Saw the trailer a few years later and didn’t make it look that great. Probably would have been more popular if a better trailer.

Loved your honesty laying bare your vulnerability. Think as time goes on the message you got about not asking for help until you are all broke down will help you reach out much earlier now. We all need help. You are helping us with your honest reviews of this and other healing you've experienced, but you're feeling exhausted may be because you don't afford yourself the luxury of receiving help. Old habits die hard and all that.... X thank you.

Amazing video !! quality information always! I have a question, how does one arrive at a state of No Mind (stop thoughts), what exactly should be done? Thank you 🙏🙏
@thisisjowett
@thisisjowett Жыл бұрын
in short - you dont. ther idea isnt to stop thoughts. just watch them and hold space for them, without interacting with them. Same goes for sensations, feelings, etc. 'its all just sound' he puts it better than i ever could. Its a practice, not a solution. Keep showing up 👍

Absolutely Brilliant!!! I’ve listened to 100’s of meditations over the last few years and not one made me release my internal fear/self judgement if I was doing it right. Alan is amazing, truly, because I didn’t know any of that fear and judgment were there until this moment. 🙏🏻❤️

Only now, in 40 years of existence, I seem to have found some explanations of this all nonsense. His words deeply resonates into my being, it seems almost as I can see and understand the whole: it's pure love.

Love that! Thanks for sharing. Alan Watts definitley has a way of pointing out just how limiting language and ideas can be. Like the more you try to explain life, the further away you are from it. It sounds cryptic and nonsensical, but the more you sit down to meditate and let go of everything, the more it makes sense. I'm really glad this connected so much with you 👌

@@thisisjowett my experience of other youtubers, is that they would take streams and cut where obvious 'segments' or subjects can be edited into multiple videos and post each individually, while trying to manipulate the youtube algorithm. The background rain ambience is a tad too strong here i would say
