Hi Abigail New scriber. It's nice to see thrifting from my area. I don't remember Sale but enjoy seeing what is in the area, I live in Newberg,Oregon. I was excited to see some carnival glass at the one estate sale so I guess there is hope I can find some at my local Goodwill. It was also nice you went to Longview. That blue glass horse is by Heisey Mosser….should have “M” embossed on base? They are worth approximately $100 to $150 depending on color.

Be careful how you describe the "ironstone" pitcher and bowl in your store or booth. Many are reproductions from the 1980s when Victorian style made a big comeback. It's still beautiful and still technically vintage but not antique. Love so many of your choices but then I always do! My favorite? The ironwood sword fish!

This one actually is. Americana, primitives and Victoriana is the genre I’m most familiar. Not all categories, like Glass but I can spot true ironstone and the difference between ironstone and hotel ware which sometimes looks very similar. I did disclose the cracks and chips and it just sold on Etsy! Now I have to ship it. 😅

I find that sometimes I find a lot of one thing in goodwills it may be pottery one day and artwork the next or linens.I also watch Laura’s videos I think your area has a lot more mid century then I see here in the Northeast.

I think you are right. Although I feel like Goodwill here is much more pottery heavy because it's harder to sell online so they don't bother with it.

Signatures on pottery means nothing most of the time. Anyone can make something and sign their name. Fun to have though.

There can never be enough Oregon Goodwill videos! Oregon Goodwills are magical. So clean. So organized. I cannot say the same about East Coast Goodwills, at least in my area. The studio pottery you come across is amazing. Love the ikebana vase. The brass lamp is pretty great too.

Honestly, Goodwill is smart, they are removing anything valuable and listing it on Ebay. Pottery just happens to be a hard sell online so easy to find there.

Thanks for putting out uplifting videos. I recently gave up on a different reseller's videos because she is often negaative, ranting about this and that. There were no longer enjoyable to watch. I'm a part-time reseller living in Portland. I'm sticking with my PNW resellers' videos from now on!

Your little black sort ceramic hand, I think it’s an incense burner, the long sticks incense you can burn and the ash would fall in the sort of space around the hand.

We are going to Marseille and Aix en Provence and other villages then heading to Florence and Tuscany in September for !5 days. Hope we can see what we hope to see as we will be driving ourselves, were not looking for arranged tours but just me and my husband driving on small er roads like you are doing. If you can give me ideas on how to prepare for our trip, would appreciate. We are from New Brunswick, Canada and I too do a lot of buying and re-selling plus a lot of crafts, macrame lampshades and furniture refurbishing….can’t wait to be there.

Hi! There’s a video I did with tips for France but not included is how I pack. Extremely light, in a carry on which I then put into as large a suitcase as I can. I sometimes also pack bubble wrap.

Awesome finds! But Girrrrrrrrrrrrrl, when you pulled that apple out of the big copper pot, there was a little spider hanging onto its web for dear life as you were waving it around! I'm surprised you didn't feel it on your hand. I almost eeeeked out loud when I saw it! LOL You always find the coolest things!

I know I'm late for the party but the jug with the hole in the bottom is a wasp trap. You put sugar water in the jug, the wasps come up through the hole and get caught when they can't figure out how to get back out. I am always amazed at the wonderful things you find at such crazy low prices!
