I live in Minden, Nevada, and I go a little fastest in my UTV. I noticed the garter snakes will raise up and try and strike me, while the bull snakes will just lay there. Luckily I haven't seen any rattlesnakes.

That’s cool! We encounter rattlesnakes more often and they always seem like they just ate and are soaking up the sun. So far none have been interested in us 😅

In fifth grade we had to create a terrarium for a science project, and we accidentally cut the head of a glass snake off about an inch behind the head. We included it in the terrarium and had to feed it because of its obvious lack of movement. But it did heal and create a little stub. We won the blue ribbon for that exhibit.

It's playing dead! Snakes will do that, they're so dramatic. Love snakes, they have SO much personality<3 Look up videos of hognoses playing dead! They're the MOST dramatic lil creatures.

Please dont let your kids play with chicks or ducklings. Even if they dont mean to they can very easily hurt or kill them before you even have the chance to stop them
