I have see through A5 zippered envelopes for each month and file specific pieces I want to use that month in there. I work with a kit I put together every month

I always love watching you go through your stuff to put in your capsule for the month of January. ❤ I haven't started working in my January journal yet but I will as I'll need to get more sprocket paper soon. Great video as always!

I also pull things I know I will use in the near future. I have a system that is almost working. I have a 3 ring binder with clear sleeves. I have them labeled for holidays and seasons. The gathering and organizing of the stuff is working. What I don’t love is that the binder takes up room on my desk and it’s cumbersome when opened up. It also sometimes falls over and causes a “paperlanche”.😅 (avalanche). If I could figure out those few issues, it would be perfect. I too have WAY too much stuff and finding something I need is near to impossible. 🫣 But oh how I LOVE❤ my paper.

The journal I made is going to last me several months this time. My journaling is mostly a process journal. I do try to include some other elements so it's not all just writing. Sometimes I get something else down and sometimes I don't. Last year, my word of the year was healing. I did get the healing I needed after my spouse of almost 31 years passed away. It has been a rough couple of years for me. This year, I chose determination as my work of the year. There is a lot of stuff I need to get done, sort, etc. and I m determined to get stuff done. I had to heal first to get to this point. I enjoy watching your creative journaling and it has inspired me try and do that as well.

Hi Allison, I’m so pleased you like it all. I did make the card, the bear on the tag is a die cut and I just cut the tag myself. The ephemera is from a company called Aall and Create who are based in the UK, they predominantly make stamps and stencils. The little note is also from a UK company called Papershire and the main character is Bunilla. I believe they do sell in the USA. I’m the lady that sent you the box of sailing themed goodies last year. I hope you enjoy it all. PS The stamp of King Charles had been used, I thought you would enjoy that also. Omg this is insane I have not been journaling all year because of a difficult time. I finally am back to journaling and watching my favorite KZbin channels. I have been really inspired. I have been thinking I want to make a journal out of a pair of jeans. Now I'm watching your video and your talking about making journal out of jeans. I would love to see you make a vision board because I want to make one as well.

Last year was hard to journal as much as I wanted. But year I am doing better everyday taking notes and at less putting a side what I want to add and going back next morning to finish. The hard part this year is the gym get up at 5am is hard on this cold cold weather in Illinois. But I am trying not to be tough on myself and go when I can if I can. Have a amazing day

We’ve had mellow holidays this year and it has been rather nice. We will be spending a week at Disney World with our young granddaughters at the end of the month instead. And that has been getting me to the treadmill at the gym so I can survive! 😂 I saved an Amazon envelope this week and am going to give Junk Journal January a try. And I love magazine images so that will be fun too. I am looking forward to a very creative 2025. I’ll be watching for your next video.
