Have you ever used a layer or two of builder gel to make them a bit more durable? That’s what I do and my biggest struggle with making press one’s is holding them in place while shaping to sand. I’m searching Amazon relentlessly trying to find or even any store to find a practice hand that will let me shape and file the whole nail without it being glued onto the plastic so it can be a press on nail!

Hi, I learned a cool trick with painting gel that is too thick. Put the painting gel container in a shallow dish with hot water, let it sit for a bit and it softens the gel making it easier to work with and cure. 😊

I tried to make a Christmas ornament similar to the snow globe. Used the same gel as you. Sadly it turned out a bit hazy. Not sure what happened. I still received compliments but I wasn’t happy. I may try again, instead of trees I used a star gem. I’d like to see some different Christmas tree tutorials.🎄
