As great as Brennan is here, Zac legitimately knocking it over again and then saying "I broke this too" is the most Zac thing that could've possibly happened in this scene.

I honestly think one of the coolest things about this entire series was Gerard's growth from husband in denial, to divorcee who is his ex's best friend. He goes from being a coward obsessed with maintaining happily ever after, to understanding his wife's deep dissatisfaction with her own story, to showing her that her story isn't over, to giving up his own life for the party's cause. FanTASTIC character development on Murph's part. You can tell he's a DM by how he creates these arcs for his own characters as B stories to Brennan's main plot.

My theory is he was on the stage until they went into the room with the lore on Samuel Dalton, then he moved to the bathroom. The "Sam" on screen after that point is just evilly grinning and not talking. I would bet the contestants nearly ruined it when they left Dalton's room to take off their jackets or otherwise look around, unless of course there was a secret passage into the bathroom that would ensure Sam wouldn't be seen. EDIT: I didn't notice it before, but that's also the point when "Sam's" tie switches colors.
