So now if your a successful person your a toxic person. They want you poor and stupid. You need to question things and your not suppose to share your knowledge with any and every one. We were raised right be a leader not a follower who remembers? This new way of thinking has programmed must to be failures. That why we don’t want to great or successful no more.

You're going a little overboard. Competition is healthy for the competitors & also the company that hires people who strive to be the best. POOR SPORTSMANSHIP, self pity & resentment are poison. Don't curb the human instinct for competition.Treat the childish reaction that resents not being handed first place.

ASPD/NPD, here. As a person who has these traits, stereotypes are a good predictor for spotting one in the workplace. Your typical "brown noser", sucking up to upper management while being in a lower to mid-range management position. The ones to single out and humiliate subordinates in front of peers. We also take credit or outright steal/plagiarize others work. We're cutthroat, two-faced, conniving and will backstab even friends and family. We have no loyalty but to ourselves. Everyone else is merely a temporary appliance for use and exploitation to achieve an outcome or goal. Coming from first-hand experience, the two biggest indicators identifying one of us is 1. Someone overly charming and charismatic. Really laying it on thick. And 2. Our stare. It's predatory and menacing. Almost soul piercing like we're hunting prey. Semi-squinted eyes with a sinister smirk. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've ever seen it. Look up the poster image of Norman Bates from the movie "Psycho". If you get an inkling you think you may know one of us, protect yourself and go no contact or low contact. We won't give a second thought about ruining your life if not taking advantage, etc. Stay safe.

NHS working environment. I am going through some really shit stuff and often feel really down. Yesterday I learned that from a manager everyone that I work with reporting back my every single words rven if I joke. I got told to never ever bring personal issues to work and be professional or I ksoe my job. Nobody cares about what my problems are at work and keep it that way. My contract end in February so thank god its just a stepping stone here but she told me by asking advice or talk about my issues i trest people badly abd I should self reflect and shut up. Ita ok to give constructive feedback but this was mentally abusive. I walked away and stopped talking to ANYONE at work. I can't wait to finish this shit NHS job.

Ik heb 30 jaar gewerkt in een bedrijf waar al deze persoonlijkheids typen zich helaas onder de collega's bevonden. Het pesten,intimideren,schelden en backstabbing, heb ik als vriendelijke en hard werkende persoon moeten ondergaan. Ik toonde verantwoordelijkheid en interesse in mijn werk en kwam ook regelmatig met verbeteringen om het werk ondermeer efficiënter te maken Maar ik mis nóg steeds één ( Hans Draad ) persoonlijkheidstype. Dat is de ''collega"' die totaal niet gemotiveerd is. Want : Degene die de meeste desinteresse toont, hoeft zich het minst te verantwoorden....! The person who shows the most lack of interest, doesn't have to show any responsibility....! r

At my college internship I was interviewed by an ex-colleague of my dad's. He told me "Your greatest challenge in life will be surpassing your father" while avoiding eye contact with a grave look on his face. Now I know it wasn't a compliment. I think part of the reason why my dad is so threatened by the idea of me attaining success (besides the usual narc-y BS) is because it's something he could never achieve as an immigrant. He had to run back home to get his old lifestyle (and the social recognition that comes with it) back. He was desperate for it. He would lament the fact that truck drivers and CEOs are allowed to visit the same coffee shop here lol. He's worked for multinational corporations his whole life and tried to interview at their Canadian branch. But no one wanted to hire an old FOB.

It never fails to amaze me how everything related to business today is so embedded in the toxic atomizing of individual behaviors that they can't recognize the inevitable collapses over the horizon. If you want to understand how businesses should operate, study living systems like how ants organize their coordination. Your own organizing self will thank you.😊

I had a really bad boss and I did focus more on outside activities but I struggled to find motivation at work. I love my job and I want to be the employee i was before but I’m struggling to find that passion anymore.

And some company structures encourage Dark Triad behavior. A place where I once worked had a performance review system where everyone was supposed to judge the performance of their peers. Perfect for bringing out the worst in people.

I have yet to work somewhere where all those traits dont exist. All the formal and official laws, regulations, guidelines, are just for show and a shield to go on the offensive , if u can believe that. Most people would stay at jobs that value people and the work. Thats not the case cuz of these 3 buffoons.
