Found a recording of this on an old cassette I set taping on the "Hey Earl Show" back in the mid-1990s. Thanks to whoever put this on the web for others to be blessed by.

This song meant a lot to my Wife and I. We were broken, He made us whole again. This song meant so much to us, I had it played at her funeral last June.

I’ve seen you comment on at least one other video about your Dad. Update us. I’d he still with us? Love to listen to him sing and specifically search his name and found this post. Great voice!

I love that crackling sound that comes with a record/record-player; makes it sound like the group is singing to you, sitting on the hearth of your living room fireplace...

One of my favorite of their songs....probably from my all-rime favorite of all their albums. (I remember going to a "High and Lifted Up" concert with my family, at seven years old...I loved it! :) )

I go to church with the man that wrote this song. Bill Smith. I played drums with him and he played piano. He passed away July 12th 2023. He's home now. What a home coming!! I'm sad but I know he is rejoicing. I'm trying to find the strength to carry on and play in his absence cause we played so many good songs that will never be played again. He wrote a song "Coming To Jesus" we played and a Jerry Lee Lewis inspired song called "I'm Different" "GOD Makes A Way" Andre Crouch "Through It all" and "The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power" that Bill put his little spin on and (in my opinion was so much better than Andres version) that we played. You had to hear them to really understand. Bill was special and a true musical poet that is no longer with us. I will miss this man. My musical soulmate and my partner in crime up there playing. Get my drumset ready Bill. One of these days I'll be up there and we will tear thr roof off of whatever venue the good LORD puts us in tp play buddy. We are gonna show em how it's done when I get there man. Just wait for me.
