I've just come across this video. Thank you for that. As a Royal Engineer Army Cadet in the mid 1960s, coincidentally in the Carrick TA Centre in Antrim Street which I'm told now has a stone arch rather than the old bland blue wooden gates, we would regularly march with our RUR cadet counterparts from Ballymena and Belfast. No quarter was given. 140 paces per minute was a killer for those not used to it. I remember Killaloe, although not adopted, being played around that time. One real old timer living in Carrick at that time, who had been in the Connaught Rangers prior to 1922, told us the history of Killaloe in Clare which he said was for just a short while the capital of Ireland, it's association with Brian Boru, and the Martin family story as one of the 14 Tribes of Galway. No-one tells it like they used to.

@@HistoricAntrim THanks. As I found out on my first return back just last year. Also the picture house gone from Sailors Row ! And our little sweet shop where we used to get a mix of sweets from numerous jars after the matinee film before rushing home to watch a new BBC programme called Dr Who. Who would have guessed that also taking in the Cultra Folk Park during my visit I would find that favourite sweet shop, still the same colour of green, at the corner of one of the "streets" - just as it once was.

What happens is a shadow comes into the frame but does not pass in or out. This camera takes 30-60 frames a second. Flies dont fly that fast. And its 4k so you would be able to make out a midge

Probably the finest band Newtownards has produced, but I have two gripes, both concerning fake Military displays. The Drum Major (Heron/Tannock) need to stop with the fake Services directive..It makes you look like fools. And the side drummers need to stop with 'sticks to lips'....It really is superfluous and moronic

I got all warm and fuzzy inside. They are just so wonderful together and compliment each other so well. The best suited couple of the royals I think. Love 'em to bits. Simply the best. So humble and welcoming, also their commonality to spend time on people and genuinely love the stories they hear. Their both just normal humble, happy and appreciative people. We see this. They welcome with open arms. Well done Prince & Princess of Wales. Your duty to service and care for heritage have paid off. Please visit Australia 🤩 👏👏👏🙏🕊️🇦🇺
