Dude making an actual base in the middle of a raid lmao. No groups would make this so the whole "Multiple players guarding you" sucks balls. It's also way too compact to fit in beds. You could have just made a standard raid base and slapped honey comb on it and called it a day. The Alpha offline raid base.

? it’s a good design. you could plop it down pretty quick. i was able to build it on a server in less than 2 minutes so it’s clearly efficient and also you can change the layout of the inside for beds if you want. or even add another floor. it’s quick and clean

@@EctoRevenant Anything that has you going out of the raid base and rotating roof as a honey comb is bad design. Anything that has you building a 2 x 2 could be plop downed in 2 mintues. Try making a raid base for a group and raiding an online group and you'll find that this base is bad.

As a noob, for your future builds (I just watched your Maverick base vid which was very sick), maybe you could show how you build it stage by stage throughout the wipe? Sometimes I get confused by a base being all built out immediately/I tend to find it quite difficult to set out and build a main base without dying whilst building so I like to do it in stages! If not then no worries ofc, love the videos all the same!

it seems like u have to aline ur crosshair and need to be on the door way to even open the box so this would basically be useless in my opinion

any benefit to using this over a ladder hatch? they're the same durability.

I believe you have to open and climb the ladder hatch to be able to access the boxes, as the boxes cannot be placed as close to the edge of the ladder hatch to simply access. You will also have the problem of accidentally closing the ladder hatch when accessing boxes in a hurry. But everyone is different, perhaps others would like to spend more materials on a ladder hatch.

Ok good points. I suppose also the grill is a lot easier to blueprint early wipe as well. Will a shotgun trap shoot through the grill?

Ok so you know that wall that you cant place the vending machine towards? Make that a window instead, and then just put glass window and treat it like a wall? it might be a workaround

This a a really nice base if you know a lot about the game but still new id say this base is a main or a really long starter for building a compound
