How do we report people who are watering the grass literally during the middle of the day? Because there's some people who refuse to cooperate with the restrictions listed on the San Angelo Water Utilities website, and to quote from that website: "Watering is prohibited between the hours of noon and 6 p.m. during these months" and they reference 1 April to 31 October. It also goes on to say that runoff going more than 150 feet down a gutter or ditch is also prohibited, and that's taking place too. So the name of the individuals who are doing this? The CITY OF SAN ANGELO. On Rio Concho Drive, to be very specific, right across the street from the Convention Center. I see this all the time, definitely more than the "twice a week" and there is always runoff flowing down the street and into the drains. Y'all going to give yourself a ticket? I'd like to know how you have restrictions on taxpayers in this city and yet somehow y'all feel it's ok to violate those same restrictions - is this because you see yourself above the law? Maybe y'all need to be fired. Over a hundred degrees Fahrenheit out there and y'all are watering like we're sitting on the edge of an endless supply of H2O. How much is just evaporating and doing absolutely zero for the grass? Probably a big chunk of it. Maybe y'all should consider watering at night or something. Like the rest of us are supposed to.

This board continues to involve itself in parts of projects that have zero to do with its authority. It’s been a consistent ongoing thing. Even after getting very thorough training a few weeks back that focused on what the board specifically oversees and more importantly… what it does not. That training told the board to knock this stuff off. Yet here we are again. Asking questions of staff and interrogating applicants about parts of projects they have zero authority over. This should be a relatively simple and positive experience for applicants. Your duty is NOT to make things as difficult and painful. Please get this board on track.

It is unfortunate that we have so few trails - and sidewalks, for that matter. A lot of the sidewalks we do have are not accessible to those in wheelchairs, with walkers, or pushing strollers. I appreciate this video highlighting the trails that we do have. I look forward to seeing a day when transportation options in San Angelo are varied and accessible to all.

Any chance y'all could put a little effort into nabbing the people who run red lights and stop signs in this city? And people speeding through residential areas and on knickerbocker road? It's dangerous as hell to drive in this city and I never see police officers anywhere but at the local Stripes stores when they need coffee. I have to dodge 4 or 5 people running red lights or stop signs every single day I drive here.

Here is something else to consider. Many retail stores have designated a portion of their main parking lots for curbside pick-up parking spaces. While I understand the convenience that curbside pick-up offers for customers, the placement of these spaces in the main parking lot directly facing the store front has become another source of concern. The issue arises when these curbside pick-up spaces take away from the total number of available parking spaces in the main parking lot. This reduction in parking spaces often leads to overcrowding and a lack of available spots for customers, especially during peak shopping hours. Furthermore, when accessible parking spaces are full, individuals with disabilities are forced to park even further away from the store entrance, making it difficult for them to access the store. I strongly believe that curbside pick-up parking spaces should be strategically located to minimize their impact on the availability of parking for all customers, particularly those with disabilities. One effective solution would be to require these spaces to be situated either on the side of the building or in the back of the store, away from the main parking lot. By doing so, we can ensure that the accessibility needs of all customers are met without compromising on convenience. Could this be looked at as a local ordinance to require stores to locate curbside pick up spots in a location that would not subtract from the total number of parking spaces that face the store front?
