Afrobeats, SlutMusic, Pop Rock, Chillwave, Country Pop = 2020s Sound in my opinion

Hi, there. I really like your video, your description is sooo detailed and I think it's a great introduction to the talented producer Madlib. And now I wonder that could I translate this video into Chinese and repost it to a Chinese video site called Bilibili? Many hip-hop lovers on there need some introduction of Madlib like this. I will appreciate that if you can give me the permission. Again thank you for your kind and your nice work. Hope you have a good day!

It’s sounds like the 80s part two. That’s the sound of the 2020s

Surprised this doesn't have more views yet. It's so refreshing to see someone with this amount of knowledge on musical history behind their back doing videos such as these. Most of the time I personally feel I see youtubers mainly focus on hip-hop and or indie stuff, typically having a genre launching point, and what's surrounding it and not much else they make videos on. Not that that's BAD, It's just cool to see some mf who knows all their shit. Keep it up this shit fire🔥

The amount of detail you put into this video is incredible. I love every part about it, from the engaging visuals and editing, to the conclusions and takes you made about many of my favorites artists, styles and eras. Excellent video!

Nigel Godrich produced The Smile’s first album, not Sam Petts-Davies.

Its crazy how other producers look at madlib as the goat ...even dilla thought of madlib as being levels above him but dilla was very humble.. madlibs not my favourite producer but hes high on the list

With Kanye releasing bad albums like Vultures 1 & 2, I honestly think his no longer the number one top hip hop producer oat. If Madlib drops Montana (Madgibbs third collab album), Gunnlib (Westside Gunn collab album), the Black Thought collab album and the Pusha T collab album he might overtake Kanye spot as the greatest hip hop producer oat💯

You should make a part 2. Here's some albums I believe most people should hear before they die (Tell me how many of these you've heard before): Soundtracks for the Blind - Swans The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd Discovery - Daft Punk Abbey Road - The Beatles The Mollusk - Ween Plastic Beach - Gorillaz Close to the Edge - Yes Since I Left You - The Avalanches My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven - Godspeed You! Black Emperor Fabulous Muscles - Xiu Xiu Flood - Boris Ants from Up There - Black Country, New Road OK Computer - Radiohead Loveless - My Chemical Romance To Pimp a Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar The Bones of What You Believe - CHVRCHES Visions of Bodies Being Burned - Clipping. Madvillainy - Madvillain Songs in the Key of Life - Stevie Wonder Illinois - Sufjan Stevens The Marshall Mathers LP - Eminem
