My guess is the mod isn't supported then. Remember, you always need the latest version of any mod, or mod manager. If the originator doesn't update their mod to work with the latest releases, then you are out of luck. There is a mods section in the Railroader discord. You can go there to see updates and ask for help with specific mods.

I am not an expert on all the mods. Mods have to be kept up to date in order for them to work. I believe there is 3 different ways to install mods in railroader. Not everything is compatible with Unity mod installer.

They are. You give them full access to your computer. Many "mods" in the past were actual viruses.

Railroader doesnt have a data folder its called different. its called Railroader_Data there is no normal data folder in that main folder of railroader so i got some problems whit unity since you blow by the unity mod install tab whit out explaining i am unable to go anyfurther

I found out that with the new knuckle couplers, you didn't need the pen the tender to the loco. Just back into it. Nice of them to tell us in the update. Sally gave me the fix on that. At least some of the Dev's are on the ball. If you want to go back to link and pen, there is a thing for it in the settings.

I have been playing on the stable branch. It kept erroring out on start in Beta. I like the new updates. The map is funny but works. My only issue now is getting the Mogul to connect to the tender. It won't. The platform link thing doesn't work right. That or I haven't figured it out yet. Other than that, it is working good so far.

For some reason I gave up long ago auto snapping bridge curves. The curvature always results in a jerky circle. Yes. I wrote that.

Historically, Narrow Guage RRs would put their power in the middle of the train, lessening the "rubber band effect" of empty cars which typically are the ones being pushed.

I hill tested the F-71 with a full tender and 10 of the loaded tank cars (59 tons each), and it managed to start it with the whole consist on the 4.5% portion of the grade and continued to gain speed. Total consist weight was 879 tons. That 2-10-2 is wild.

You could with 2 ppl. When RROX used to work, I could link them together, but no more. I think they will make this a feature eventually.

I do it, no RROX. Typically for climbing a long grade with 30+ cars. I have a 125 leading the way, a tweetsie as second engine. I set up the tweetsie facing rear so the coal tenders meet. Since I personally do it dragging lumber to the coal and iron mines I have to put a large hopper car as the first car because there is a problem with front couplers connecting to flat cars and then run my flat cars behind the hopper. I set the tweetsie at 60% with max fuel and hop back in the 125, kick off the brakes and use the front loco to brake and increase speed.

Yea that works if you have a nice even grade. I've done it before also, but depending on the track it can be a real headache that usually ends up in derailment. The 125 has plenty of power for most jobs.
