Hi, thanks for the video. I just got the 100w glass heater but the light does not come on and heat. It it on the minimum water line. If you have any help it would be amazing! Thanks

Hi! The light would only usually come on when the heater is actively heating. This time of year is possible that the heater may only be needed in the evening or at night. You could check by monitoring the temperature and increase to see if the light turns on. Alternatively switch off to cool, place in a bucket of cooler water and then switch back on. If the led light indicator isn't working or the heater physically isn't heating, then 1st of all check the fuse on the plug is in good working condition. Failing this please return to the store of purchase so they can test or replace if needed.

Hello! Blue valves are inlet and Red are the outlet valves.

2024 and they give us filter socks instead of adequate space to fit a Clarisea or the Red Sea fleece filter, fucking bozos at Neptunian.

Thank you for your comment! We do not force anyone to use filter socks. The Neptunian sumps are fully adaptable. You can use just socks if you wish as many people do. The socks can also be removed and changed for Neptunian filter rollers supplied to slot straight into the system as a direct replacement for the socks. This saves space massively and allows the main sump chambers to be free for other equipment. You could of course also pop in filtration cups, cups hold phos media or carbon etc whilst running aftermarket filter rollers. These are the most unique feature packed aquariums in the market and we try to cater for all types of hobbyists.

Yes they would! Vitalis do specifically manufacture the LPS pellets though that are designed for LPS coral like the Duncanosammia axifuga.

We are in 2024 not sure why companies still making sumps that only uses filter socks. Red Sea gets it, and Waterbox is 'slowly' getting it, but so many companies still havent design sumps for dual purpose. This was an awesome tank until it comes to the sump. Almost everyone with this kind of money would not go without a filter roller.

how do you clean the "gap" between back and bottom?

I imagine you are referring to the rear weir ? If so the water flow dynamics running throughout the rear glass is sufficient to keep detritus suspended and cascade down into the sump. If you are concerned and wish to clean maybe on a breakdown or tank move etc you can get long slender flexible brushes to go in from the top, or insert via the substrate grill near the base which is removable. Personally this type of cleaning is not common and not to worry about.

Damn - If I'd seen this video before I made my video on the Hypermax 4500 I could have given viewers the release date but it still worked out OK as I directed viewers to Urmston after speaking to Chris. I hope that this filter and other Aquael products get a strong foothold in the UK. All the best for 2024.

Hi I purchased two of them from my local dealer few months ago for my 5 gal betta tanks and set them to the minimal flow level. Everything was perfect : filtration, noise level, flow, size, BUT there is a major flaw : the filters keep constantly sliping from their original place and sometimes they even get detached from the glass. Re-setting them each time was such a harassment so I ended up getting rid of them and replacing them with sponge filter / air pump combos. Now everything is well in place but the noise level (air pump) is too high for my bed room... I'm already missing the quietness of the sicce filters. I think the flaw come from the suction cups : they are not strong enough to hold the filter in place. I hope sicce will adress this issue. N.B.: I'm apparently not the only customer who has experienced this problem.
